I mean, I knew I'd like it. The BATIM game was brilliant, and I've watched multiple different play-throughs of it. However, I've always preferred to experience stories in a book format, so I figured I'd probably like this. On a Tuesday morning in mid-October, multiple disasters threaten the shooting of a tourist film being produced by Emmett Chambers, but Bill Chambers, Constance Gray, and Brant Morris are able to step in and fix each problem. The three POV characters are fine, but none of them are particularly likeable. Like most horror stories they learn their lessons too late to change.

The Ink Machine reuses its model from Bendy and the Ink Machine. The only difference with it is that it has different textures. As a gamer and a reader, I was excited to read this book. I was not expecting some events that is relevant to the video game, Bendy and the Ink Machine. There's actually not much criticism I could say about this book, except that I wanted to know more with a few characters at the end of the book. This wouldn't be the first time I have come across by previous books I read that left a cliffhanger. I'm not saying this book has a cliffhanger at the end, just minor things I wondered about.

The machine is large, square, and robust in shape. Its outside is made up of several pipes, gears, pistons, and other attachments. A giant metal barrel filled with ink is connected to the rear of the machine. There is a large nozzle connected to its front, along with long, sprawling pipes underneath. The machine is also portable, being risen up and down the studio by several large, heavy chains. That afternoon, Bill and Andrew arrive at Constance's apartment, and after a fight between Andrew and Constance, Bill and Constance talk about what they've discovered about the machine and the ink. Obviously, the best part of this book was seeing the studio from a different angle before it was covered in ink. I loved following Buddy around as he found each location from the game and figured out what was really happening. Dreams Come to Life definitely maintains the same creepy atmosphere you'd expect from Bendy and the Ink Machine.

On the same day, Henry's 2nd audio log teaser for Chapter 5 is uploaded from Joey Drew Studios Inc's channel. I buy books based on their cover so I did no research into the fact that this is NOT a horror story in the slightest. This is a fictional memoir of the man who created the fiction toon "Bendy"

Joey is very boastful in a polite way that you feel charmed and somewhat attracted to, but can still feel that selfish and sinister tension. Buddy is brutally murdered by Ink Bendy during a fight at the Court Theater and resurrected by Joey as Buddy Boris, who assaults Joey and retreats into the studio. On the same day, Joey Drew Studios Inc.'s channel posted a video with Henry's audio log for Chapter 5. A Practical Guide to Creating the Illusion of Living: Part 1 - Joey Drew's Seven Rules to Animate By This book has also really peaked my interest for BATDR, and has me wondering if Henry was the one who wrote all, or even any of the secret messages we see in BATIM.

Dreams Come to Life is a prequel to the game and revolves around Buddy. Buddy hates his job as a delivery boy but desperately needs the money, so when he's given the opportunity to work for Joey Drew Studios for double the salary he jumps at the chance. It doesn't take long before things start to seem a little off and continue to spiral from there. She is also the author of two other children's novels: ALEX AND THE IRONIC GENTLEMAN and TIMOTHY AND THE DRAGON'S GATE (Scholastic).
