I have very fond memories of sitting around the table as a family and spending a few hours doing puzzles whilst on holiday. I promise this is not going to spoil your enjoyment of the rest of the jigsaw but it will give you a taste of what is to come.

Again, like the others in the series, they’re designed for an older crowd that our 8 year old, but he is a fiend at the piecing together stage. Plus, the way his fresh mind and imagination works, he was able to “see” things that us older puzzlers missed or disregarded.

My only negative is that we don’t have tons of space so had to do the puzzle and take it apart on the same day. Slight criticism of a few pieces getting very wedged together but I guess that can happen to any puzzle! pieces is always a tough job when you’re working collaboratively but once we got a system going, we smashed through it. I decided to challenge myself and complete this in one sitting, a noble task which I did achieve after 5 hours but that was a big effort.

Mayhem in the Library is a combination of a traditional puzzle, a Where Wally/Waldo book, and a picture riddle quiz.Are there vast expanses of like colours that make it a war of attrition to finish or are the puzzle so easy that there is no challenge. Quite a tricky puzzle to complete as there is a lot of detail and many parts of the picture are similar. But others will take a while for you to figure out, depending on your knowledge of classic and popular fiction! TIME FOR AN EPILOGUE: Once you’ve finished building this literary puzzle, use the checklist to make sure you’ve found every single book. Watching the craziness unfold amidst the shelves and stacks of books is fun, and definitely nothing like my local library!
