Even after the movie after he ratted out the people he worked for and had gone into the witness protection program he still screwed that up for his family. According to Gregg Hill, his father constantly cheated on his wife, Karan, and he even got married again to one of his drug buddies while he was still married to Karen. He co-wrote a blockbuster article in Sports Illustrated about his role in a point-shaving scheme at Boston College. We got hit pretty hard, and we all got hurt pretty badly — Gina was thrown through the windshield, and I was pinned under the dashboard. Karen’s role in the operation is questionable, although she did, at the very least, assist Henry in hiding cocaine from the cops, as depicted in the film.

But Henry Hill's total inability to live straight, even after entering the Witness Protection Program, must have been hell on his children. When I read (and reviewed) Gangsters and Goodfellas by Henry Hill I found a man who thought very highly of himself and who liked to skip over details that he didn’t think were important. They’d get a tip from one of the guys on the loading docks at Kennedy Airport whenever a good load was going out, and they’d follow the driver until he stopped at a red light. Gina flew to Florida, and although Justin was already in a foster home, Gina was able to obtain custody. Written by the son and daughter of Henry Hill (the Mafia informant who became the focus of the book Wiseguy and the movie Goodfellas), this is an account of a childhood spent inside the Witness Protection Programme.I liked the style and how it changed between the viewpoints of each child and their different perspectives.

Karen Friedman Hill (born January 16, 1946) [1] is an American known for her involvement in the American Mafia through her husband Henry Hill, who was an associate of the Lucchese crime family.

In fact, she admitted to her daughter Gina that she was drawn to Henry by the glamor and glamour of the criminal lifestyle.
