The intended use of Andis ProFoil is to shave stubble and for hair fades. However, I wanted to test out a couple of other uses.

If you are shaving your own head, I’d say it’s best to steer clear of the Andis Profoil Lithium Plus. It’s annoying to use when you’re doing it by yourself but extremely effective when someone else does it for you.

However, Titanium has a grayish color, so most likely the coating on the foil is actually Titanium Nitride, which has in fact a gold color. As of 2023, the silver variation that I got doesn’t seem to be available anymore. The performance of the two is however identical.
