I thought it would be no use for me to read the light novel too, thinking I'd rather read the manga anyway. I mean.. I've already emotionally destroyed by the manga, right? I won't again been destroyed by the light novel too....... right ? He wasn't afraid of death, for he believed that hell would be far more pleasant than this place. Nor did he fear the pain of dying, as day after endless day was nothing but torture." *CRIES A life with someone you can say good-bye to is a good life, especially when it hurts so much to say it"

I took it as a 'light' read at first since it's a light novel, but hell, that wasn't light at all. It was the heaviest book I'd ever read. I love the way he build relationships between Akutagawa and Atsushi with the other characters. I even love it the way he gave us brief view of how it would be for shin soukoku if they meet in a normal world. It’s hard to rate objectively, but I can’t really take a book out of the postbox, read it in a day, and NOT give it 5 stars. JOKES ASIDE, PLEASE WATCH BUNGOU STRAY DOGS IF YOU SEE THIS. I HAVE ZERO WORDS TO DESCRIBE WHAT THAT ANIME MEANS TO ME, OR WHAT THESE CHARACTERS HAVE DONE TO ME, BUT IT'S JUST... TOO MUCH. IN A GOOD WAY. EVERYONE DESERVES FEELING THAT “TOO MUCH.” Murase, who has since been bent on getting Chūya out of the Mafia, tries to strike a plea deal with the mafioso to be released with Shirase in exchange for selling out internal Mafia intel, which Chūya flatly rejects. Adam breaks Shirase out of jail at Chūya's behest, but Verlaine storms the facility and corners them. Chūya arrives despite Adam's cautionary messages and fights Verlaine. Before Chūya uncontrollably unleashes Arahabaki again courtesy of Verlaine, the latter spots Murase and kills him—his actual first target—before retreating.chuuya ma li mortacci tua, proprio un personaggio così devastato come te dovevo kinnare? non penso che ci sia stato momento per tutto il libro in cui non l'abbia sentito vicino, dai momenti silly in cui insultava (deserved) dazai a quelli più depressi in cui pensava che la sua nascita fosse stata un errore (poi s'è ripigliato grazie al cielo) e che fosse una persona che si spendeva troppo per gli altri e che aveva paura di aprirsi con i suoi amici. Storm Bringer - takes place 6 years before the start of the series and one year after Dazai, Chuuya, Age 15. It has not been adapted into the anime. The untold origins of the agency - takes place twelve years before the start of the series and follows Fukuzawa and Ranpo’s meeting, as well as the forming of the agency. It has been adapted into the anime. The fight with Verlaine was so intense. Even though I knew the outcome I still ended up holding my breath reading some parts.

SERIOUSLY, Beast AU is basically just Asagiri's biggest crime. A big ass emotional damager. I thought I have wanted to punch him enough for killing Akutagawa. The Bungo Stray Dogs light novels are a group of stories not in the manga. (Although a few have manga adaptions) And... I guess that's all for my review. I think I might have gone crazy a little, but that doesn't matter. GO, read the book! Let's together hurt ourself.Next, what I really like in this story is that the characters stay true to their own self. I mean... their characters are the same with the original story. For example, Atsushi doesn't suddenly overcome his fear towards the orphanage's director. He's still the same Atsushi, the one who is haunted by the past or the incident that happened at the orphanage. And then, Akutagawa. He's still that hot-headed teenage boy, who often do something without plans and rely only on himself. (no hate, okay! I love all characters so much!) and there's Dazai. YES, he's still that goofy (even though not that much), he's still that man who plans as if he can see the future. You won't feel weird out or uneasy with the story, instead you'll get to know more on what happened with Atsushi and Akutagawa when they were younger (before they joined any agency). p.s.s. asagiri should have wrote a book where akutagawa atsushi dazai oda and chuuya all in the agency instead of mafia to compensate this crime. please make them happy for real.. ㅠㅡㅠ I'll try to write this review without any spoilers hahahhaha I've spoilt a lot in my updates so yes, hopefully this will be a spoiler-free review. To the people who have read or watched bungou stray dogs, or kin any of the characters, or feel that its relatable, PLEASE get therapy. poi io non pensavo di ottenere così tanto devasto da /verlaine/ ceh io ero partit dal presupposto che sarebbe stato una rottura di scatole antipatica per tutto il libro E INVECE NO pure lui dovevo percepire i hate everything

I was actually thinking that what if the next novel is about Dazai?! I know we already have two around him but what about something from his viewpoint?! The light novel continues the story after the events of "Fifteen" and the Arahabaki incident. This book basically explores Chuuya's past. I absolutely loved this book and this was one of my most anticipated releases for this year. No way I could ever rate it less than 5 stars. It has everything I needed - no romance, fight scenes, sci-fi, supernatural abilities and great characters. Also, only bungou stray dogs can make you empathize even with the anatgonists. To gather information, Fukuzawa and Ranpo question the performers, starting with lead actor Tokio Murakami. During their inquiry, the youth states his willingness to risk his or anyone's life for the sake of mastering the art if given the chance. They also question the other performers, who think that no murder shall happen. However, Ranpo believes that the note is an announcement rather than a threat for murder, though he thinks that Fukuzawa, as an adult, must have already perceived that. To further assess his skills, Fukuzawa asks Ranpo to deduce him. As the boy uncovers his secretive past with ease, Fukuzawa fully believes that Ranpo is special. That final scene when Dazai says ' because this is the only world he can write his novel in " and" I wish I could have read it"
