Instead of using a dart drum like the HYperfire, the Nerf Rapidstrike uses a unique 18 dart clip system. This clip is unique simply because it is transparent! With this clip you will never need to guess how many darts are left before you need to reload. Instead you can easily see how many shots your have left without even ejecting the clip from the blaster. The RapidStrike is likely a spiritual successor to the 2009 N-Strike Stampede ECS, due to various similarities between the two blasters, such as its abundance of tactical rails, fully-automatic firing mode, and eighteen dart clip.

The RapidStrike is commonly modified to be smaller and "minimized" through the removal of most of the front half of the blaster.
