While I have been fascinated with this unique, talented, charitable, handsome artist since I was 11 years old, I only knew him through his 1988 smash album, "Faith." After receiving a few R & B awards, some communities were not pleased with his cross-over appeal. Finally, with a lawsuit with his record company, George Michael's soulfulness disappeared from my radio station by 1991. I honestly did not know what had happened to him. However, I am an adult now, and I have had the pleasure to reconnect with his music and discover him as a person. a b "George Michael's secret generosity through charity donations". About the Book

During the late 1980s, Michael had a relationship with make-up artist Kathy Jeung, who was regarded for a time as his artistic "muse" and who appeared in the " I Want Your Sex" video. [165] Michael later said that she had been his "only bona fide" girlfriend, and that she knew of his bisexuality. [160] In 2016, Jeung reacted to Michael's death by calling him a "true friend" with whom she had spent "some of the best time of [her] life". [166]
