I really wanted to like this because of all of the hype, and I do think this smells ok on certain women - just not on me.

i expected to love this but it definitely fell short for me – it was like a hit-in-your-face fruity fragrance with no depth. If you're looking for a hard-candy inspired, fruity perfume for your collection, I recommend this fragrance. I used it almost for 5-6 months but now in the drydown of the VS's Bombshell, I got a sense of a generic dishwashing liquid and it's not only me who thinks so! the first time I smelled it was in the van nuys budweiser factory tour that my dad dragged me to along with our family friends.Layering it on top of a thick body lotion and with DKNY Electric Citrus seems to help on this front, but sadly by itself it just does not last long enough for me. She’s slowly starting to realise that being sexy has got nothing to do with how short her skirt is or revealing her top is – after all, she’d spent the last nights tugging at her skirt and pulling up her top. However the transition from the masculine edge to the flirty girl is what gets you hooked on Bombshell IMO. That incredibly crispy burst of lemony/grapefruit zest was what kept me coming back to this scent, super refreshing guilty pleasure that I am unashamedly addicted to when the weather is so warm that I can’t stomach the thought of wearing ‘real perfume’…and now that zesty ‘aftershave’ effect has been dialed down, so I’m disappointed in that. Now, she's a evolved into a narcissist who got caught stealing from sephora(in her 40s)- when saks was right around the corner.

This is what I (born in 1975) expect from a fragrance described as fresh or shampoo-y and I’ve been disappointed so many times because it seems it’s not what people in general mean by fresh or shampoo-y. Still, according to the time of day or my mood, I'd waver between this and Seduction or layer both, this one closer to my neck and Seduction a little lower on the body. Yes pretty "generic" however you can't deny it's a VS classic and many tried to mimic this scent after it released.Anyway, I bought it in a set along with shower gel and body lotion and together they just make for a happy mood experience for the day.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell is an Eau de Parfum for women who like to show off their beauty and fragility and also their dominance and dignity. I tend to save it for days in early spring and late summer when the humidity where I live isn’t so overpowering.

Unfortunately I just can’t get past the strong artificial chemical-like smell from the excessive amounts of passion fruit and peony clashing. I really only get a musky, floral scent, which was disappointing because I expected this to be fruity and tropical the way it was advertised to be.
