Description

I received this palette last week and have used it about 4 times since then – creating a few different looks. Before we get into them, Let us find out about the individual shades in the palette. We will take them up row-wise. Urban Decay Heat Eyeshadow Palette launched a few short months ago and it definitely remains the warmest, richest, and most pigmented selection of fiery nudes around. It in fact might have you questioning of you need the Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette if you already own Heat. Candle is the weakest shade for me, it’s very crumbly and has a lot of fall-out. It’s a beautiful shade but dipping your brush is creates a snow storm of powder. I still love it as an inner corner highlight shade but you have to be careful when using it as to not make a mess. Pigmentation Latte: Described by the brand as a Tan. This is a light to medium brown with warm golden undertones and a matte finish. It is quite powdery – like Cashmere. It has good pigmentation. It can sheer out easily which is counter-productive if you are using it on the id – but great if you are using it as a transition shade. sweetheart Ingredients: Talc, mica, silica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), manganese violet (CI 77742), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), ultramarines (CI 77007).

This really is a beautiful palette, the shadows are high quality and certainly don’t disappoint. I think the shade range is fantastic and really thought out. It offers great variety and flexibility but still comfortably sits in that warm toned family. Despite it being so warm toned, it’s really wearable and surprising versatile. Its a palette I have been reaching for non-stop and such a beautiful addition to my collection. The product consists of a metallic gold case. It has good weight to it and feels luxurious. It would make a great gift item for the Holiday season – by the look of it. The palette has a full size (full size of the palette) mirror and 12 eyeshadows. Each eyeshadow has the brand name embossed in it. There is no brush/applicator. The palette has shade names of the individual shadows mentioned underneath the shadow itself. It comes with a coordinated cardboard exterior box which has the ingredients listed on it in detail. My Experience with Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette: For my first look I am going super warm. I focused on using the middle row mostly. With these super warm looks, while they make my eyes look more brown, I also feel they make me look quite pasty, so I try to go in with a bit of eyeliner to make my eyes stand out more. That way, I feel a look like this pops more and really adds that sultry aspect to it that makes these looks work. Pigmentation for most shades is really good. Two shades, Cashmere and Latet – part from being quite powdery, also sheer out quite easily which becomes a bit painful when being used on the lid, but work well when being used as a transition shade. Having said that, I am not sure that it is a miss from the lab/manufacturing perspective or it is by design. Meaning, are the shades low in pigmentation and easy to sheer out by accident or on purpose. Because the shades which have this concern have more than one use in the palette and the fact that they can sheer out actually works well for the palette. The shades blend well and mesh well with the other eye shadows without getting muddy, but it isn’t as effortless as say, the shadows from Natasha Denona or Viseart.

We have eyeshadows in every color, from natural tans & browns to bright pops of color to accentuate your natural beauty. Our shadows also come in various finishes from matte, shimmer, pearlescent & metallic — so you can switch it up depending on your mood! The colours blend easily and mesh very well together – without getting muddy. Though not as easily as say, the shadows from Natasha Denona, but you get the gist. The Tarte Tartelette Toasted palette came out at the tail end of last year and captured my attention right away. As a self-proclaimed warm toned eyeshadow lover, I knew I wanted this palette for myself. After kindly receiving this palette as a Christmas present and have been putting it to the test ever since.jetsetter Ingredients: Talc, mica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, silica, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), manganese violet (CI 77742), titanium dioxide (CI 77891). Cashmere: Described by the brand as a Pale Peach. My most used shade – so much so that the brand name has disappeared from the shadow altogether. This is a light to medium, soft peach shade with warm undertones and a matte finish. The shade is soft and smooth but incredibly powdery. So, not only is this the most used shade – being perfect for transition – the fact that it is too powdery will make me hit pan on this way sooner than any other shadow in the palette. It has decent pigmentation. It can sheer out easily which is counter-productive if you are using it on the lid – but great if you are using it as a transition shade. smokeshow Ingredients: Talc, mica, zinc stearate, silica, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), ultramarines (CI 77007).

And can say I enjoy all four for different reasons. Below are swatches of each the Tarte Tartelette, Tartelette in Bloom, Tartelette Toasted, and Tartelette Juicy. Which one(s) do I prefer the most? activist Ingredients: Talc, silica, boron nitride, zinc stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), manganese violet (CI 77742), ultramarines (CI 77007). answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but If you prefer rose tones, try our tartelette™ juicy palette. This gorgeous eye color palette palette is great if you're ready to level up & watch your shadow skills bloom. If you want warm shades, try tartelette™ toasted; this palette is like a bonfire with s'mores in a palette and is the perfect complement for a shimmering gloss lip look. For cooler tones, try tartelette™ matte. This palette is especially great if you have oily skin & prefer a matte finish. The best part about all of our tartelette™ palettes is that the 12 lid, crease & liner shades are arranged in coordinated rows for three easy looks. Of course, you can also mix & match the different shades & finishes until you find an eye look that suits you. If you’re into warm shades you’re bound to love this. It’s basically autumn in a palette. All the shades of all the falling leaves are right here in this palette.Warmth: Described by the brand as a terracotta. The shade of the hour (if not the year) – a medium, warm-toned, burnt orange shade – but kind of muted, instead of being bright. It had good pigmentation but was again powdery – though not as bad as Cashmere. The texture itself is quite smooth and easy to work with. I apply eyeshadows with a primer because my lids are way too oily. These shadows lasted a good 8-9 hours with primer. Without primer, my eyelids turn everything to mush. It would be especially bad for these shades coz of the softness of texture of these shadows. rebel Ingredients: Talc, silica, boron nitride, zinc stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), manganese violet (CI 77742), ultramarines (CI 77007).
