(Juggling several hot pans and pots when cooking for 6+ people would have been easier with a place to put the pans that wasn’t plastic.) However, when taking on an ambitious meal like steak and risotto or biscuits and gravy for 6 folks, the four plastic side tables were nothing short of miraculously helpful. Let’s start with the legs – these are the best legs in the business! OK, I’m not talking about Miss World here, but you can see why the Victorians used to have to cover their table legs to avoid the menfolk getting too amorous! The legs on the Nestling are independently adjustable for height which means you can level the table on any surface. Extremely useful indeed! There are two pairs of legs which open outwards away from each other in a U shape, and the height of these legs can be switched between two settings. One thing we did notice is that there is a spring-loaded pin which requires pushing in to change the height of the legs, and this can easily catch the skin on your thumb as you press it. Probably the only negative about this table, and only a minor problem at that. Summing up

They are each independently height adjustable and have very wide ‘feet’ which means they will not sink into soft ground. The legs allow the table height to be adjusted from 54cm up to 71.5cm. When folded away, they barely take up much space. Eight square feet of tabletop gives you plenty of surface area for the whole family to gather around and eat, ample space to cook and serve, or tons of real estate for games. Four adjustable height settings make it easy to fit this table to whatever chair height (or standing height) you may need. Plus, it holds one of our top weight capacity titles at 200 pounds — bring on the potato salad competition. Great for the beach, camping, garden use, and more, this Roll Top Camping Table from Trail has a heavy-duty steel frame and slatted aluminium top which is waterproof and heat resistant. All in all, we love the Trekology- it does everything expected of it exceedingly well! And that blue colour is to die for – yum! While the sturdy plastic hard top is great for meal prep and cleaning, it didn’t give us the ability to cook on top of the space with a grill or stove. No shame here — not all of us can disappear for 6 months to hike the AT! If you’re a solid weekend warrior, you might be willing to drop some dough on a super-tough table that will hold up to your every-weekend excursions. However, if your camping plans look more like a handful of times a year, you might not want to break the bank on a camping table.

However, it’s the sprayer that we really loved — not only was it helpful for washing dirt off of fruits and veggies that spilled from a bag, it was great for rinsing out dishes, hosing down dirty feet, and spraying off tough burned pieces from a dinner left too long on the stove. Not to be outdone are the Outwell Nain Low Camping Table and the Outwell Kamloops Camping Table, two classics that carry a great deal of weight with our clients, literally. These spill and shower resistant multipurpose tables are so compact and versatile that we recommend them wherever space is at a premium. As for campers who prioritize convenience and value, the Outwell Corda Picnic Table Set with four waterproof chairs is the ideal mealtime gear. But it’s the bamboo which is the star of the show here. It provides a highly stable surface with a real quality feel. Please bear in mind though that this is more of a side table and is probably not large enough to eat around unless there’s just a couple of you.In general, look for a kitchen camping table that can either be adjusted or start off higher for easier cooking while standing. On the same token, look for a dining table that fits the height of your camping chairs better or can be adjusted to fit your chairs more easily. Weight Capacity It’s a fairly small side table, measuring 45-65cm tall and 60 x 80cm on top. What makes it so good is the fact that the legs can fold into the wooden top and then the whole table can effectively be ‘rolled’ into a very small carry bag measuring 12 x 17 x 81cm. It also looks very nice indeed!
