Fire Warriors, which can be built as either a Strike Team or a Breacher Team, plus 1x Support Turret These are sort of like small Combat Patrol boxes made specifically to be fielded for the new Boarding Actions. So, expect them all to have a lot of foot sloggers.

However, we’ll look at the value and see what price is more viable. New Eldar & Drukhari Boarding Patrol Boxes: What’s the Value? As with the other Arks of Omen books, this is no different with lore advances along with some new rules for gameplay and factions. Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire Well, that’s assuming they are not capped at low numbers like the previous ones and twos from previous weeks…Some people love the new-ish Voidscarred, so this might be a popular bundle option. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari – Price Value & Savings Summary On the talk of upgrades, let’s talk about the Corsairs. You can take both variants into battle with this box – either 10 Voidscarred and 10 Voidreavers, or as 20 of either option. It’s interesting to see Corsairs as infantry in lieu of Guardians, but it’s thematic and the Corsairs offer high customisability – I could list off what each weapon upgrade and ability does all night long, but the Aeldari race might be entirely extinct by the time we’d finish, so I’d recommend referring to your Codex to build your Corsair options.

Since we are leaning into that Saim-Hann theme it would be appropriate to snag another Combat Patrol box. Doubling down on this core allows us to do a few things. First, we get another 10 Guardians. We can use them to fill out the previous squad or use them as two 10-man squads. Either option is useful for various reasons. Second, it gives us a total of 12 Jetbikes. We’re gonna need them. The additional Farseer and Wraithlord are less helpful here but maybe not as terrible as you might think. Now, let’s have a look at how much the individual components in these boxes are worth were you to buy them seperately. The stars are awash with the sounds of violence – with the new additions in Arks of Omen: Angron and White Dwarf 485 , there are now a total of 27 Boarding Action missions to take you into the cold depths of space.* Plenty of Boarding Patrol boxes are coming to join the fun – but the starfaring Aeldari are masters of sailing through the void, and their spiky cousins are no strangers to raiding stranded vessels and even space hulks . If you’ve been eyeing Grey Knights, this is full of great unit choices you can play in every game going forward. Boarding Patrol: Necrons Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, or our new Discord server, and make sure you enter the latest monthly giveaway for FREE today! As well as advancing the narrative of Warhammer 40,000, this book includes significant expansions for the Boarding Actions game mode. Not only do Dark Depths missions allow you to mix up your battlefields, the book also introduces multiplayer games for three or four players – be they two-on-two team matches or exciting free-for-alls.

Some of the other Boarding Patrols we’ve seen both released and teased have frequently contained up-to-date miniatures from the last few years or even brand-new models altogether, perhaps with an older kit included. On this front, when compared to the other sets, the Drukhari box looks particularly poor. With 26 miniatures – the vast majority of which are recent releases – the Aeldari Boarding Patrol will have caught the eye of many collectors. The Wych Cults of Comorragh, meanwhile, are masterful marauders, despatching raiding parties to hunt down prisoners for the fighting pits, victims to render into gruesome stimulants, or slaves to pay off their shiny new razorflail. It seems bizarre that the Succubus was chosen over the far more recent Lelith Hesperax or Drazhar miniatures for inclusion in this set. Not only would Lelith or Draz have increased the overall value of the box and made the whole thing far more appealing, but they are the two most recent releases for a range that is otherwise in dire need of a facelift. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari – ValueAll models are supplied with their appropriate bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly The Emperor’s finest are the prime bulwark against Abaddon’s nefarious schemes, and this Boarding Patrol is typical of their brutal efficiency in such matters. You’ll be able to face any foe with a highly customisable Primaris Captain in Gravis armour, five Heavy Intercessors, and 10 Assault Intercessors. Two squads of three highly customisable Tyranid Warriors provide an adaptable, formidable core to claim the Ark. Meanwhile, eight fast-moving Genestealers – fielded as a squad of five – act as an insidious vanguard to a towering Broodlord. Here are all the details for the new Warhammer 40k Combat patrols, along with Farsight and Snikrot releases with the pricing and links! An inspiring showcase of photography and battle scenes, featuring the armies fighting on Arthas Moloch

A squad of six Windrider jetbikes* gives you plenty of speed to zoom around the board. Combined with Craftworld Saim-Hann’s bike-buffing sensibilities , these agile Aeldari can reach just about anywhere you need them from turn 1. That’s not to say they’re all whoosh and no wallop – their bikes carry plenty of upgraded shuriken weaponry for shredding any foe foolish enough to get in the way. Here’s the updated value breakdown of the four new Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrols for Dark Eldar, Eldar, Grey Knights, and Necrons!

Can’t say I’m an expert on how Drukhari play – I still call them Dark Eldar to this day – but I will give as good an analysis that I can. This box does fall under the 500 point Boarding Actions list threshold by 130 points – and though the Wyches provide a lot of weapon options, you’ll never have enough to get there. I’d recommend another unit of Incubi to bring the pain in close combat, unless you want to overpower your foe with firepower, bring another unit of Wyches or Kabalites. If your alignment is slightly more devious, Drukhari might be a better option than normal Eldar. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights Formed around a core of redoubtable, objective-grabbing Guardians , this Combat Patrol offers a force that embodies everything the Aeldari are famed for – speed, psychic abilities, and withering firepower. It’s led by a sagacious Farseer, who can dish out mortal wounds and tweak the Strands of Fate in between supporting the CORE -keyworded Guardians and Wraithlord.
