The palate has the delicious sumptuousness of white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach, apple), the alluring caress of fine bubbles and the soft vivacity of citrus fruit and nuances of gooseberry. This iconic Champagne house was founded by wine trader Charles Moet in Epernay in 1743; it was remaned Moet et Chandon in 1833 after Pierre-Gabriele Chandon de Briailles joined the company as a partner of Jean-Remy Moët, Claude Moët's grandson. By gently decanting the Zenne y Frontera, the aroma of this unique lambik will evolve from vividly tangy to a complex nutty and fully fruity bouquet. This year's version features a little twist of aging the stout in Rye Whiskey Barrels with a mix of Mexican and Madagascar vanilla beans!

So, back in March of 2020, we brewed up a special batch that would be laid to rest in freshly emptied 19 year Elijah Craig barrels. This wine embodies the House's style, remarkable for its bright fruitiness, seductive palate and elegant maturity. Prepare your palate for the delectable flavors of milk chocolate and fudge, laced with caramel undertones and a warming finish of bourbon and apple brandy.Crafted to celebrate our 5th Anniversary, Starry Noche started as a carefully selected blend of Medianoche batches aged for 18-22 months in freshly emptied 7-12 year-old bourbon barrels. Aged in Pappy Van Winkle 23 bourbon barrels, previously used to age Rare Bourbon County Brand Stout.

We intertwined several of our favorite recipes into this massive stout and then aged it for 15 months in 15-year-old Willett Family Estate Bourbon barrels which were hand-selected by our friend Drew Kulsveen of Willett Distillery. Imperial Stout brewed with coconut, then aged for 14 months in Weller 12 and Rittenhouse Rye barrels before being infused again with toasted and raw coconut. We are excited that we could blend up this beer for you - to express our barrel-aging program from a slightly different angle and to offer up BBT more than once this year! A project that began as Imperial Double Shot has matured into a distinct beer that is perhaps our most complex yet! A sparkling bouquet with the vibrant intensity of green apple and citrus fruit, the freshness of mineral nuances and white flowers and the elegance of blond notes (brioche, cereal, fresh nuts).

The Heart of Darkness pairs well with spicy, grilled red meats, high quality dark chocolate, and blue cheeses.
