They say that revenge is sweet, and no one understands that saying more than Alex Damon. Or at least, he hopes to. Alex is a billionaire and was completely self made. But he also never forgot the demise of his family, or the people responsible for his family being torn apart. Now he wants to get what he is owed in vengeance. You know I have a brand spankin’ new Lamborghini right over there.” He gestures at the valet parking. Besides, he’s going to thank me. As soon as the fact that his intended and I slept together only two weeks ago sinks into his microscopic brain. Nadia Lee is the creator and the author of the series of fictional novels, Billionaires in Love. The series started in 2013 with the publication of the debut novel in the series, Vengeful in Love. That was followed by the second book in the series, titled Reunited in Love. The series continued with the third novel, Redemption in Love, followed by Forever in Love and Merry in Love. Remember Harry? Tony’s lovable younger brother in the Sins Trilogy? In an effort to separate himself from the horrible actions of his mother, he’s started going by the name Court, and this is his story!

Kerri Wilson used to be an investment banker. But now she’s left without a job or feeling like she has a purpose or direction in life. Newly set adrift, Kerri decides that she’s going to go on a trip to Virginia. Then she can go visit with her best friend and try to get a handle on things again. While this is a pretty riveting read, it’s also not exactly what I was expecting from the blurb. Yes, our hero has a one night stand and then stops a wedding to steal the bride. But that’s not really what the book is about.

The familiar aquamarine eyes send a jolt through me. I blink. The bride is right next to me, still cursing. What the hell is she doing over there in that red dress? Am I seeing things? I’ve been thinking entirely too much about her over the last two weeks. Then Alex finds out that his enemies are closer than he thought. One of them has a daughter, and it turns out that she is working for his company. With a potential foe hidden within the ranks, Alex suspects that she’s there to spy for her family and get them ahead. He doesn’t love that idea, but he does enjoy the idea of getting revenge. How will he do it? By seducing this young woman and going from there.

I dump her in the passenger seat. Cursing, she struggles against the tangled veil and a small sea of white fabric. Edgar’s the oldest of us three brothers. Tony’s the middle one, and I’m the youngest. “Tony doesn’t need me,” I say. “He has Ivy.” Whom he’s married to now, and so in love with I feel like I’m inhaling cotton candy every time I’m around the two of them. This isn’t my first Nadia Lee book, but there’s a reason she’s become one of my favorite authors after just a few reads. This book is an excellent example of what to expect and why you’ll love writing it. A tall, slim brunette places her hands on the hood of my car, almost like she’s daring me to run her over. Then she lifts her chin.Sure enough, within a minute, a blue Prius rounds the corner and starts slowing down. Finally! Time to forget parental drama for the night. The last thing that she ever planned for was meeting a guy. But when she crosses paths with Ethan Lloyd, that’s exactly what happens. Ethan’s a billionaire and known for being cozy with the women. The only thing is, Kerri was one of those women. Ethan and Kerri hooked up one night and then she quietly made her way out of there. Sissy. I didn’t even push him out of the way that hard. I look over a shoulder to give him a superior smirk. I had so much fun working on this book and laughed so hard a few times that I disturbed the dogs’ afternoon naps. Where the Sins Trilogy was dark and angsty, Stealing the Bride is a laugh-until-you-cry-fan-yourself-from-the-hotness good time. Nadia Lee is a published author of fiction. She is a best selling writer that has reached the top of the lists on USA Today and the New York Times.

I really enjoyed the style of writing and the moments of humor and lightness in the story. Honestly, I was hoping it would be easier than it turned out to be. Propaganda is only a small part of the book, and honestly, these two only exchanged a few words on their first night together. There were no jokes before their sexy night together, it was truly a physical encounter. Stealing the Bride is a standalone full-length romance novel with a sexy AF billionaire, smart geeky heroine, identical twins and mistaken identity. No cheating, no cliffhanger. Just lots of heat, heart and humor. She may be a writer now, but she used to work as a management consultant. She is also bilingual and has resided in four countries. She has always had a passion for great food, adventure, and travel. She is married to her husband and they live in Japan in an apartment that has a view of sakura trees and the river with the son they share together. They share hamsters and a pile of books that constantly grows. She spends some of her time writing, but when she is not busy doing that or reading a great book, she is usually coming up with plans for her next trip or looking through older Asian historical texts. This is not my first Nadia Lee book but there is a reason she has become a go to author for me after only a couple reads. This book is a prime example of what to expect and why you'll love her writing. To be fair, Nate has been looking forward to taking his brand new car for a drive. And as far as I know, he’s never ridden anything that costs less than six figures. Nate stares at it the way a zoo tiger might stare at an offer of hay. “Oh, come on! Court, man. Seriously?” The woman’s name is Natalie Hall. When the CEO for the company that she works for starts to show interest in her, you could blow her over with a feather. She’s really surprised that a wealthy man like Alex would want anything to do with her personally. But Natalie’s been through a lot and feels very vulnerable. Her heart is not ready to be broken again.

My phone goes off again. The knot that’s been sitting in my gut for I don’t even know how long tightens some more. While this is a pretty adorable read, it’s also not quite what I was expecting based on the blurb. Yes, our hero does have a one night stand then stops a wedding to steal the bride away. But that’s really not what the book is about. The billionaire may have started out with an intention to get even, but he’s finding that she’s thawing his heart. But caring for Natalie could mean that his entire pursuit of revenge to take down her family is compromised. Will he forsake all of his desire to get even in exchange for love? Read this book to find out! He’s started after me, his feet pounding the sand. But the guy’s not fast enough. Even with a struggling woman over one shoulder, I can outrun him. I didn’t get my muscles from one of those jiggle dumbbells that simulates jerking off. I got them the old-fashioned way—sweating on Icarian fitness equipment in a gym. The bride is over my shoulder, wriggling like a trout caught between a bear’s paws. And it’s true: my paw is on her ass, so maybe she feels like a trout, even though we’re on a beach and there are no bears in Maui. And she’s screaming like a banshee. What he doesn’t expect is a case of mistaken identity, and now he must decide what to do about it. Things get even more complicated when Pascal’s family gets involved and she left Court for a reason, so winning her over won’t be that easy.
