But even with a high end amp and dac, don’t expect extended sparkly treble, detailed bass, big soundstage and an open sound. That song sounds like it’ll burn you it’s so hard and electric, and it really gives a headphones a good run. The Skullcandy Aviator headphones come with endorsement by Jay-Z's Roc Nation, and that's as close to musical greatness as they get. However even at a crowded bus or subway you can still find a good volume level that block outside sounds but isn't loud enough for others to hear.

I got tired of seeing reviews about headphones along the lines of "these rock" or "these suck" - so I made it my goal to try out as many as I could so I could give a baseline for comparison. The Skullcandy Roc Nation Aviators are compelling headphones for anyone who values a natural sound over artificially enhanced bass. the guitar riffs were great, the separate vocals could easily be differentiated from one another and didn't blur together, the percussion sounded great and even the intro to ariels sounded wonderful so bravo to these cans for making my favorite band continue to sound amazing. The in-line remote is handy for use with portable devices, and the relative sound isolation makes the Aviators appropriate for offices and other environments where you still need to hear noises around you.

You've probably seen its krazy-kool neon and graffiti-splattered cans stacked up for sale in mall kiosks, or clamped to the dome of some young'n on a skateboard as he whisks by and spills your latte all over your Haggar slacks. Skullcandy hooks up with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation entertainment company, birthing the ultra-cool Roc Nation Aviator headphones (promo video posted below). The buttons are larger than most with good tactile feedback, and the middle button acts as your voice command and play/pause button for your iPod. I turned these things up as loud as they would go while listening to Janet Jackson’s Black Cat , and man, what a freaking treat that was!

Skullcandy Roc Nation Aviator Headphones review - CNET

Not a studio headphone but to me sounds better than Beats and other products in this same space of "fashion/style/design first, sound second". Der Kopfhörer Skullcandy Roc Nation Aviator kombiniert einzigartiges Design mit außergewöhnlich klarem Sound, der lediglich im Tieftonbereich etwas passiv wirkt. As a pair of skull candies I expected an unbalanced bass head pair of headphones meant purely for looks. The two earpieces build on a classic egg shape that invokes the spirit of the aviator sunglasses famously worn by Erik Estrada's character in the '70s TV show "CHiPs. meters past the left earcup, but we hope Skullcandy will push its durability further and allow detachable cables in future versions.I bought this primarily as a headphone, but also as a hands-free phone device, and for use as a headset on my Windows machine. After spending a week listening to all types of music through the headphones, we get the impression that the Skullcandys' open soundstage is better suited for genres driven by string instruments like rock and country, whereas the Image Ones boast a fuller and richer tonal balance that lends itself well to hip-hop and techno. Not as light as some phones but still quite light - almost light enough to forget you are wearing them.

It's actually nice in a way because these headphones allow you to hear your favorite songs like never before.I literally listened for hours at reasonable to loud listening levels and not once felt like my brain was going to melt. It has a library of streaming music that fits the "brand lifestyle" – lots of great West Coast hip-hop and some atrocious Sublime-wanna-be ska-punk – as well as streaming videos of skaters, surfers and snowboarders getting rad. So far she has found them comfortable, they provide great sound and block out the noise generated by the rest of our family. Jusque-là surtout connu aux États-Unis, Skullcandy est la marque de casques fashion qui monte actuellement en France et en Europe.
