It is obvious what one "can do" if one chooses to do so, thus for me the "instructions" messed up nearly every page. I do wish the double page spreads weren't so difficult to get to in the spine; spiral or lay flat binding on this book would be a dream.

If I didn't have access to the UK version, I would have been okay with the US one but I still would have been a little bit unhappy with a couple of issues. As I noted at that time, I really enjoy Kerby Rosanes artwork which includes an unusual look at design and I have a really fun time coloring all the little odds and ends that make up the full design. Most of his works are characterized by whimsical lines, patterns, characters, and little elements that are spontaneously combined to create massive compositions depicting his everyday experiences or anything that inspires him. If you go over the same area a few times you may find slight shadowing on the reverse, but it's not a major issue. So, the designs are great, as expected, but what about the publishing quality of the US published book?When imaginimorphia arrived, my mouth dropped in awe while looking at the illustrations and then my lips curled upward into a big smile, "NO DIRECTIONS":) One can look for the hidden items, if desired, but the hidden items do NOT take away from the illustrations! We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. for example, "fill in the wings", "fill page with BLANK" I want to color, not draw (unless I choose to do so) and do not want someone tell me what to do. The UK version has the design right into the binding and the US has a white strip (when you can get the book to fully open which is impossible for me on some of the pages. I hope someone has taken pictures and posted them (very hard for me to do) but it is still difficult to see the detail in the posted pics.An amazing adult coloring book challenge, featuring the strange and superdetailed images of artist Kerby Rosanes. I was disappointed in the set up of Animorphia, not with the illustrations, which are wonderful (even thought they are not "my thing") but b/c it told the user what to do nearly on every page. It actually weighs slightly more than the UK version – either a slightly heavier paper or the slightly larger size of book – or a combination of both of these. I'd purchased both as gifts for others (guys in their 20s) and imagimorphia so enjoyable that this 50 year old may just get one for herself!
