But I'm OFFENDED by chapter 15. Hoshino's fashion is perfect! You do NOT need to "fashionable" when you go shopping. But chapter 16 did bring up a potential story hook involving Kazuki, chapter 17 hilariously introduces a new romantic interest (he's an ass), and chapter 18 makes me question if Riri's implanted memories are actually real and Hoshino is just that oblivious. What I think we’ll see as the denouement is that Anzu does indeed find love, but it will end up being on her terms and through none of Riri’s meddling (outside of introducing the boy to start with). That’s a pretty solid way to split the difference and I hope it goes there (I have not watched the anime, although I admit I am more interested in doing so now).

This had to be one of the longest times for a manga I’ve read and it’s not even that I didn’t like it, I loved it and I wanted to binge read it but I didn’t have much time to get to read it. When I did have time to read, I was too tired after work so it was one of my slowest mangas ever lol :(((a b 干物JKが魔法の力で強制的にイケメンと恋?「ロマンティック・キラー」1巻. Natalie (in Japanese). Natasha, Inc. But our teen girl finds all these situations annoying and refuses to fall in love no matter what romantic set ups occur.

When gamer Anzu gets transported to a world of hot guys, it’s like she’s in a dream… someone else’s dream! This series continues to be one of the funniest stories I've ever read. It breaks your common Shojo tropes by, quite literally, breaking them. Anzu herself remains amazing, just wanting to be left alone with her cat, and her attitude and happiness with her life on her own terms make her a five star heroine in a three star story. I guess we’ll see how it shakes out, but she’s amazing.

Volume 2 absolutely delivered as many laughs and a nicely progressing storyline from volume 1. The introduction of two new characters was interesting and funny. I like how much this pokes fun at stereotypical romance tropes without bashing the audience that loves them Due to a series of unfortunate events, Anzu gained an unexpected and hot roommate. But wait, now she has two! And now Anzu has not one, not two, but three hot guys forced into her life. What’s a girl who is uninterested in dating supposed to do to fend these hotties off? Comprising four volumes, Romantic Killer is sure to become a favorite current release for fans of romantic comedies.” ~KGUN9 News

Romantic Killer, Vol. 4 Manga eBook by Wataru Momose - EPUB

But more than that and more than this just being reverse harem which can also be draining at times - its just hysterical. Obviously she is going to fall in love with one of the guys (though I am rooting for the girl friend), you can tell she really has zero interest and not just being "I'm not like other girls". She's genuinely hilarious, sweet and overall just a phenomenal character. And the boys are phenomenal too - and although I do still have a favorite, I couldn't tell you who she ends up with. Oct 20 Final Fantasy XVI Producer Naoki Yoshida on the Game's Anime Influences and Design Philosophy Romantic Killer happily breaks the fourth wall to laugh at these tropes, which makes for a refreshing take on the standard formula.” ~HoneysAnime I'll admit that this made me leery at first, even without taking into account the fact that I read this volume a few days after I lost my sixteen-year-old cat Big Al. Largely that's because from a certain, possibly overthought, perspective, what Riri is doing is explicitly forcing Anzu into a situation she neither wants nor is comfortable with. Add to that the fact that the little imp makes it clear that he doesn't give a damn about whether she's anywhere on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, and it's a premise that can be a little uncomfortable. We don't all find hot guys sexually appealing. If you are making a season 2, as i hope. Then i think Tsukasa shoud date Anzu because they need eathother if you know what i mean. And the first season was so romantic when Anzu protected Tsukasa and the other way. Please make a season 2.? Loved it and couldn't put it down. Romantic Killer has become my all time favourite manga series and I simply cannot stop talking about it! Junta, Anzu and Tsukasa are my favourite characters, but every supporting and additional lead character in the series is also really well written. Riri as Anzu's cousins has already created some hilarious situations and I look forward to seeing how that progresses through future volumes. I really love how the bugs/beetles are censored, it makes me laugh so much! Or, you know, not. Unlike some other series I’ve read, this one is shaping up to pull into the station with an outcome I won’t dislike either way it plays out. Which is no mean feat considering my issues with the first volume.
