Attaches magnetically for an elegant transition from powerful showstopper to discrete performance piece.

At the price that this speaker is available at, the Klipsch RP-600M can be an overachiever with the help of the right electronic gadgets. If you connect these speakers to a good tube amplifier, a beautiful match is made in electronics heaven. Disclaimer: The RP-600M II was sent to us by Klipsch in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. Specs

With its 6.5 inch, copper-spun Cerametallic cone and larger cabinet, the RP-600M II speakers have a convincing way with bass. Given their size, the RP-600M II speakers reach deep down into the bass spectrum, for bass with oomph. As well as class-leading bass depth, the rigid cones deliver a tight and punchy bass that keeps you on the edge of your seat. As with all equipment, aesthetics are very much a personal choice. To my eyes, the bronze-coloured woofer and horn tweeter look purposeful and have a professional studio monitor vibe, albeit with a touch of glamour. A magnetically attached cloth grill is provided if you'd rather the speaker appears more discreet, although for this review, they were not used. There can be some hardness in the upper midrange level that can be bothersome to some people with vocals. It depends on the amplifier. If you go ahead with warmer sources and amplifiers, the issue will not come up, and you will think they are unbelievable. Pros and Cons Pros Additionally, the RP-160m is made with cutting-edge technology and can be used with all current television sets. Pricing Paul W. Klipsch set up an audio store in New York to sell his speakers in his first year of running the company. Continued to today, Klipsch has gradually expanded from the garage to today’s global company. From entry to high end, from portable headphones to speakers, Klipsch has a broad and complete audio product line.

Sound Power represents all of the sounds arriving at the listening position after any number of reflections from any direction. It is the weighted rms average of all 70 measurements, with individual measurements weighted according to the portion of the spherical surface that they represent. The reference plane in this test is at the tweeter. I tested the speaker primarily with the grille off. They come in two scratch-resistant vinyl finishes, Ebony and Walnut, and I liked the quality of the Ebony samples I received. They did in fact look like they would resist scratches well. In summary, the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-600M II improves upon the original in several key areas including greater transparency, enhanced detail, and deeper, more articulate, bass. On the other hand, I did find the top end to be a bit brighter than the first 600M, necessitating even more care in terms of matching electronics. The RP-160M is better suited to large spaces and busy interior environments. However, they are expertly made and have excellent specifications; nothing revolutionary here; just be aware that the RP-160weight M’s may be an issue.

If you're not already a fan of Klipsch speakers, all I can say is, why not? You don't like speakers that spin torque and exude horsepower? Some tool told you that horns sound like megaphones? And you believed him? While the two drivers work together to maximise the potential of one another, the bass and treble doesn't gel quite as seamlessly as 'point source' speakers – think coaxial designs or Quad electrostatics – instead expressing more of a live PA rig sound. Imagine attending a gig with 'flown' speaker cabs suspended from the ceiling while the bass-bins fire from under the stage – that's kind of how a pair of RP-600M IIs perform, with thrilling treble underpinned with a forceful bottom end. years after its introduction, the renowned Klipsch horn is still being produced at the Hope, Arkansas, Klipsch facility. The premier stand-mounted speaker model from Klipsch is the Reference Premiere RP-600M. How tall is the Klipsch Rp 600M?
