just the fact that they always used sex as a way of communication made this book 10 times better for me. This story gave me everything I could ask for and more, with the storyline encompassing an element of drama that kept me wondering, albeit a little predictable all would end well ( it’s a rom com) I still felt the tension gripping me.He’s intense need, love, admiration, irritation and every other explosive feeling he has for her is what kept me reading. I liked the setting, the cute little island town was quaint and the thriller/mystery was also very compelling. It's a lot of back and forth between the two with Brick being a Alpha who is grumpy but lovable and Remi the red haired pixie who has come back and turned his and her world in its side.

Her side character development is pretty great, as I was invested in her sister and friend and even the niece and nephew were well developed.

I love her fully developed and exciting stories, clever writing, fun characters, the slow burn, and the hot and steamy parts. Remi was fine in the beginning -- I thought she was an independent and spunky woman, but it didn't take long before she was sitting back and letting Brick take care of everything because only he could save everyone.
