This might be the author’s filthiest book yet because Max and Cozy are some dirty talkers and I ate it all the way up 😂😂😂🥵🥵🥵. First off, I LOVED seeing his friendship with his ex-wife, exes don’t always have to play the villains and I loved seeing the healthy coparenting here! Bringing their own unique and counter-balanced personalities to proceedings they ask questions such as: what is happiness? When Amy is not writing, she’s likely making charcuterie boards from her home in South Dakota where she lives with her daughter and husband.

Cozy and Max get off to a rough start because Max is a Type-A, ambitious, routined CEO and Cozy is taking life one day at a time.It's the banter and playfulness that really stood out for me though; Max and Cozy have an instant spark between them, they just have very different attitudes. There were a couple of minor things that bugged me about that, but nothing major holding me back from enjoying the story. Strength is the combination of That One Moment and A Perfect Moment plus several other bonus scenes and epilogues. The story centers around Cassandra (Cozy) who takes a job as a nanny (you'll find out why as the story progresses) for sweet 11yr old Everly. I was definitely hesitant going in to this one because the only other book I’ve read from this author in the past didn’t work for me.

But when her sister begs her to interview for the nanny position of a high maintenance client, she doesn’t have a good enough reason to say no. Do you feel weighed down by stress and pressure, held back by judgement and lack of opportunity, and critcised by everyone – including yourself? I realize he can get girls ten times hotter than me, but to act like I'm some kind of disgusting mistake is a degradation I can't stomach.I couldn't out this book down, I just had to finish it, I laughed out loud at bits (the amount of times I've had the voice in my head say new kink unlocked, having it come from another character was aces 😂) I also got choked up and wanted to bang heads together at points, but I think thats a sign of an amazing author, one that drags you into the book soo much you feel what they're feeling. She goes toe-to-toe with the hot doctor in the cafeteria she frequents and things escalate in ways they never expected. We get nice updates from past characters in the series and a satisfying epilogue, so if you have been following the series it might be worth reading this one. Max’s (30) daughter, Everly, will be staying with him all summer, which means that he needs a nanny for her (her mom’s in a different country with her wife). When she moves into the guest house, it immediately changes the dynamic, and it's not long before Max finds himself inexplicably drawn to her.
