Having used a Cybex Priam travel system with my son and then a Nuna Demi Grow double pram travel system when my daughter was born, I’m familiar with pushing around a durable, heavy-duty pram. Cons: very tall parents might prefer an extendable handlebar while shorter parents might feel like it’s too high. That reduces the height of the folded YOYO by 17 inches, but its length is 9 inches longer than the TRVL. Although your baby may experience a little more movement when in the bassinet, the fact you can tuck the pram into the most crammed space on a train, far outweighs any concern about baby being slightly rocked around in my opinion. It’s made that way so that the child in the stroller can recline and you can just kick it up with your foot, but honestly, my son wouldn’t have the seat next to his face.

For my family, Bugaboo Butterfly isn’t going to replace Babyzen Yoyo, as our lifestyle involves flying very often and as it’s slightly bigger it won’t fit on all airplanes or trunks which is a deal breaker for me personally.Also, very few taxis will give you time to install it in a taxi, because they have to go (their marketing video is so stupid because the lady doesn’t install the car seat at all, just dumps it inside so there’s no official requirement for car seats in the city.

Wheels are good but I don’t think it would be a fair comparison to compare any travel stroller to a full-size stroller with gigantic wheels. If you’re looking for a stroller for only occasional trips and don’t want to spend that much – I get it. The only step that requires two hands is folding the canopy, but you can do it when the baby is still sitting in the stroller. I’ve been on numerous planes where the 1″ of thickness made the stroller not fit which means you might have to gate-check it.

Pre-baby, my husband and I usually travel via TGV; so something that folds easily, but sturdy enough would be best.
