Rosewood is prized as much for its delicate fragrance, as for its solid wood, but also for its therapeutic virtues. In aromatherapy, the essential oil of rosewood is a powerful ally of the skin. Softening and firming, it brings radiance to the epidermis. It is therefore an excellent natural anti-aging! Thanks to the presence of linalool in its composition, this essence also has antiviral and anti-infectious properties. Its soft and subtle fragrance is also indicated to calm stress and anxiety. The use of rosewood in perfumery The extraction of the essential oil I own quite a few Banana Republic fragrances as I find them very pleasing and inexpensive. They're not the most unique scents, but they do offer a variety of wearable, signature-worthy fragrances for the modern woman.

There are subtle differences between all these scents but rosewood doesn’t have that strange metallic harsh base that both montales and the mancera have. This is a simple amber perfume with powder, dusty pink rose and maybe a smidge of white musk. It's warm and cozy and I would put Rosewood in the same family of fragrances as Burberry Woman and not any tea fragrance. I don't get any tea or bergamot at all. Although it speaks of the desert, it should not be related to fragrances that portray the burning sands of the Middle East, but with sandy landscapes and constant breeze. It is perfect for special occasions, romantic dinners, and more sexy nights, except ballads and dance floors. That's because, in my opinion, Desert Rosewood does not match with warmth or sweat, but with a well-cut suit or a trim dress, when heeled shoes draw more attention than the clothing itself and the perfume is used as a weapon of seduction. It is worth remembering that the fragrances of Goldfield & Banks are gender-free. We were at Penhaligons and of course Bergdorf Goodman could not be missing. But in the end I flew home without new perfume! None that I wanted to afford laughed at me that hard. It was great to test everything, so I thought I would get that at home too.I'll agree that this one is reminiscent of Ellen Tracy's Bronze, but in my case, that is a happy thing.

It's like a mixture of Kuumba Made Amber Paste with Demeter Baby Powder and Skin Musk. A little rose essential oil for good measure. This is something special. It's sweet ambery woods. It smells like no other fragrance I've ever smelled and again, it is wonderful. I absolutely love it. It's woody but not too woody, it's sweet but not too sweet. The benzoin just radiated off of my skin, supported but the dry rosewood and sweet vanilla. Sexy, sensual, sweet. this was not a love in first sniff.I don't like it's opening that much. it's a bit sharp and somehow dusty! but after a few minutes it dries down to this addictive, powdery skin scent which I can't get enough of it.This review is an initial impression based off a sample from Dior.
