All our POLYTOPS ® UPVC nails are made from A4 marine grade stainless steel which guarantees against corrosion from salt water or chlorine. The original wired glass no longer rated as safety glass and could pose a serious risk in the event of breakage. POLYTOPS ® fixings are plastic top pins, nails and screws manufactured to a high UK standard using top grade polymer and the highest grade steel, that’s A4 marine grade stainless steel. We only use A4 marine grade stainless steel in our nails and pins which means they do not suffer with corrosion and therefore don’t leave rust stains unlike less materials like A2 or zinc plated stainless steel that are supplied despite this very well know problem with corrosion TBS delivered when they said they would, and all the sheets were cut accurately to the required dimensions, making installation very straightforward.
