These are a little bulky and they are on the heavier side. But not a huge step away from other options out there. So If you’re looking to buy the best Sennheiser headphones for music productions and studio recordings, you’re in the right place to know all the crucial facts and information you need.

Film productions have become smaller in recent years, moving faster than they have been 15 years ago. Harti Küffner, who has worked on major productions such as the German "Tatort" series, relies on Sennheiser for his daily business. Sennheiser's wide range of professional audio products provide him with the precise tools he needs, perfectly suited for each application. The Sennheiser HD 300 Pro does have a very tight fit. The clamping force ensures a tight seal for passive isolation but can lead to discomfort over longer sessions. This becomes even more apparent if you have a larger than average head. The HD 300 PRO works at the same level of precision that you apply to your production. To make this possible, we have pushed its acoustic properties to the boundaries of physics and recalculated them. Firstly, it’s linear frequency response. It doesn’t interpret, but rather ensures neutral transparency – the basis for good decisions. Its sound pattern remains delicate and precise in every application – across the entire spectrum. The HD 300 PRO headphones from Sennheiser continue the company’s tradition of producing high-quality headphones for studio, live or broadcasting use.Regarding adaptiveness, the bass response will vary a bit from listener to listener, but in most cases, it should stay between +/- 3dB. Mids stay very consistent and in the higher frequency range issues in most cases should stay within the same +/- 3dB How much do they differ pair to pair in terms of frequency response?

The main difference between HD 660 S is that it is the best audiophile headset on a budget for listening with a DAC (Digital-to-analog converter) or an amplifier. The headphones are able to bend in many ways that make it more compact, however they feel like they may come loose after a while of use. The design of the HD 300 PRO represents a smart combination of wearing comfort and ambient noise attenuation. Its circumaural, viscoelastic earpads can barely be felt even after several hours. And they provide reliable protection even against very loud ambient noise. To achieve this, we have designed the acoustic unit to be more isolated than a monitoring set has ever been. Even after sessions lasting several hours, you will detect only its sound – not its weight. Very comfortable headset and has accurate sounds. They’ve four different models from which you can choose any of them as you wish to buy for yourself.

Sennheiser HD 300 Review

The Sennheiser is the best headphones brand for music production and audiophile, as well as other types of headphones. Sennheiser is much better than Sony or Beats regarding professional studio use in bigger soundstages and better listening experience for various budgets. They’re always a top-of-line headphones brand for professional mixing and mastering headphones. Got awarded for the design competition and premium audio products by iF DESIGN AWARD 2020. It is a symbol of outstanding achievements focusing on the design’s innovative power, excellent work, and performance. Nice Blog, I’ve been using HD 280 for around 7 years now! I have some other headphones and earbuds with a bit high pricy. But I feel always HD 280 is best sounding headphones. Now I want to update my pair of these headphones. I Hope HD 300 Pro is gonna be the right upgrade for me now,.! As for the cushioning on the earcups and the headband, the Viscoelastic material used by Sennheiser makes wearing the headphones extremely comfortable. I wear glasses and had these headphones on for at least 7 to 8 hours a day, and there was hardly any discomfort that I experienced. Neither did the headband dig into my skull, nor did the earcups cause pain around the area where they sit.
