However, if you endeavour to make ‘funner’ sandwiches such as a spicy chicken mayo sandwich with rocket, then suddenly you’ve levelled up your sandwich game by miles.

One of my favourite things to do on a trip in our campervan is to spend an evening around a campfire with new friends.

When hot, add your mixture to the pan for a minute, flip it over, and flip it again until it's golden.

They’re so popular that it’s easy to forget how wonderful they are: A buttery puff pastry baked to golden perfection lends a light flakiness and crunch to go with the hearty meat filling made of eggs, sausage, onions, and spices. LPG Gas Stove Hob and Sink Combos are popular among van campers who want a more permanent and integrated solution.Chilli is a healthy, hearty meal that is great for those cold nights when you are travelling in your camper. This means that they can be powered using smaller, more portable energy sources like solar panels or power banks, which is ideal for van campers who want to live off the grid. With that in mind, I wanted to share some of my best and easiest campervan recipes for you to add to your list of meals to make in your campervan. It takes a bit longer to cook at 30mins, again just using a single hob, but is very nutritious with only a few key ingredients from your refrigerator. One of the best parts of van life is having the freedom and flexibility to park up almost anywhere and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner right from where you are.

A lovely healthy dish that’s super easy to make, and it can be eaten as a meal or had on the side with something else. Bacon and/or sausage sandwiches are a camping food staple in most people’s arsenal and they’re such a great option for pretty much any meal of the day; I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve had my fair share of “lazy” dinners consisting of a bacon butty! You can of course cook spaghetti on your van stovetop or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, in a dutch oven. After sprinkling with icing sugar and topping with a splash of your chosen beverage, seal the foil packets up, a bit like a pasty.Prick the sausages and place them on the barbecue or griddle, turning occasionally until brown and cooked through. These can be made with either pre-made pastry or homemade and are fast and easy to make while on the go.

Pasta is an obvious favourite for those living life on the road, but this dish is a little different to your average bowl of pasta and tomato sauce. I literally begrudge myself for even writing the word ‘salad’ on my blog as it’s not a food that I usually associate with, but I do recognise that it’s one of the easiest, cheapest and of course, healthiest meals to make in a campervan. Find fillets of local fish, cook them on the campsite and wait until the fish’s flesh becomes flaky and tender. While I’m desperate to make my own tortellini one day, preferably in a gorgeous countryside town in Italy, surrounded by vineyards (a girl can dream! In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain. But we can't leave creamy chicken pasta out of our easy camping meals list, especially since it's so simple to make. It can get expensive to eat out, and cooking in our van guarantees we eat nutritious meals and save a bit of money.
