Description

I would really like to know about the adult years of this great author, but that is of course not what this book is about. It is not included in promotions available to our main range products, as stated in our terms of service. Jacqueline has won the prestigious Smarties Prize and the Children's Book Award for DOUBLE ACT, which was also highly commended for the Carnegie Medal. As a teenager she started work for a magazine publishing company and then went on to work as a journalist on Jackie magazine (which she was told was named after her! Many youngsters will relate to the story of Floss, who loves both her parents dearly and desperately wants them to get back together.

In 2002 Jacqueline was awarded the OBE for services to literacy in schools and from 2005 to 2007 she was the Children’s Laureate.

I also loved the way it was an autobigoraphy but written for children, so ti wasn’t a bit tiresome and boring to read, but exciting and colourful, and most certainly enjoyable.

I really loved figuring out her hobbies, and especially all of the little questions asked at the end of each chapter relating to one of her books. Nick Sharratt has written and illustrated many books for children including Shark in the Park , You Choose and Pants . It is only a short book (as I said it is aimed at children) and the text is quite large therefore you could probably get through this in one sitting. Today her popular books for children have sold millions of copies and have been translated into more than thirty languages. For example, the guess which of these characters had some relation to the chapter, I just mentioned. But who would've guessed that she would grow up to be the mega-bestselling, award-winning Jacqueline Wilson! We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. Jacqueline is also a great reader, and has amassed over 20,000 books, along with her famous collection of silver rings. The book came with a tiny bend at the top right hand corner and the page layer had been slightly pulled so it's bent and you can visabley see the book is a little damaged.

In 2007 Jacky Daydream was published, an inspirational true story of how a shy schoolgirl became a superstar author. Most of you liked the book, Jacky Daydream and rated it 5 stars well this book wasnt for me, it just wasnt my cup of tea.

Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids. It is a whole other story and it could of course not be written in a child friendly way, because children want to read about children, not adults.
