Superhuman Equilibrium: Spider-Man possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. Spider Physiology: Spider-Man possesses the proportionate powers of a spider, granted to him from an irradiated Common House Spider (Achaearanea tepidariorum) which bit Peter Parker that was apparently already mutated from prior exposure to certain frequencies of radiation and received a final, lethal dose during Parker's attendance of the exhibition. The radioactive, complex mutagenic enzymes in the spider's blood that were transferred at the time of the bite triggered numerous body-wide mutagenic changes within Parker, granting him superhuman strength, stamina, durability, speed, agility, reflexes, and equilibrium. Spider-Man has always been seen as Marvel's most hopeful hero, as he speaks for the average person, so seeing him succumb to the darkness of the apocalypse is unsurprisingly grim. The art by Elena Casagrande deftly depicts how the experience has taken a toll on him mentally. The fact that his mask is split in two shows just how at war with himself he is whenever the zombie apocalypse hits. He's finding himself becoming a completely different person whether he has to face zombie versions of his friends and family or becomes a zombie himself. It goes completely against his moral code to use his powers responsibly and help anyone he can.

Although young and a bit immature, Spider-Man is a well-meaning person who goes out of his way to help others, even if it means putting his own life on the line. He acts as a morality booster for him and his allies, believing that they should be hopeful for the better to come rather than giving up. Parker is quite smart, as he knew that using his webs to slingshot the train would help it start moving. He also thought it would be wise if the group did not split up in the Grand Central Terminal. In the end he was right, as Happy Hogan was captured and turned into a zombie by Hawkeye. Parker greatly cares for his friends and becomes sad when he begins losing his allies to the Zombie plague. Once Parker and T'Challa were in the Quadjet, they were joined by Scott Lang and the Cloak of Levitation. They then watched as Vision took the Mind Stone out of his head, deactivating himself, and Maximoff freeing herself from the debris, before coming over to his body. Banner recovered the Mind Stone and went to the Quadjet, handing it over to Parker. Parker told him to come with them, but Banner told him to avenge them, before leaving them, turning into the Hulk and fighting Wanda Maximoff. After they had flown into the air, they were stopped by a zombified Hope van Dyne. She grabbed the Quadjet, but T'Challa applied the thrusters, freeing them from her. Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man is able to exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair his performance. After falling asleep from the journey, Parker woke up and had a heartfelt conversation with T'Challa about losing people. They reflected on how they were humanity's last hope before arriving at Wakanda, unaware that it was already ravaged by zombies and that an undead Thanos was there with the other Infinity Stones. He missed out on another feed when his webbing runs out while pursuing Magneto, who was escaping the ruins of the Baxter Building after Reed's and other survivors escape to another dimension. What’s more, in the resultant fall, he broke his leg “—like—in half”. Unable to get to Magneto because of his leg, Spider-Man eventually got a feed when the other zombies tore Magneto apart and stray bits of his body happened to fall within reach. Despite the fact that no one else aside from the zombies know his secret identity he chooses to continue wearing his mask, when Luke Cage asks about this Spider-Man reveals that his guilt over killing May and Mary Jane is so great that he can't bare to look himself in the mirror again and refuses to take his mask off. Things get worse however after he succumbs to the Hunger on Earth-Z and infects five of the Sinister Six; hoping to use a stone tablet to cure his zombification in the hopes of being a hero again he unintentionally causes the deaths of Harry Osborn, Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane thanks to the zombie Sinister Six. Parker with his Web-Shooters A pair of wrist-mounted mechanical device that Peter created and used to project synthetic webbing. Parker invented the first pair while Stark created a new and improved pair to go along with his new suit. Though, this new pair supplied by Stark merely involved technological improvements and a few new features while the overall mechanics and webbing itself Stark did not attempt to replace. Spider-Man drops by briefly in the What If...? trailer, and he looks entirely unchanged from Tom Holland in the MCU, sporting the same suit and mechanical web-shooters, but new merchandise reveals a massive addition to Peter Parker's zombie-fighting outfit. Both the LEGO minifigure and official Hasbro action figure include a large red cloak bellowing behind Spider-Man's usual attire, and the ridiculously high collar all-but-confirms this is Doctor Strange's cloak of levitation. Expertly crafted based on the appearance of Zombie Hunter Spidey in the soon-to-be-released animation series, the Marvel collectible figure features a newly crafted masked head sculpt with multiple interchangeable right eyepieces to create different combinations of expressions; a greatly poseable figure body; finely tailored Zombie Hunter Spidey suit following the classic blue and red color scheme with Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation in burgundy; a number of interchangeable hands for signature poses; assorted web effect accessories, and a dynamic sixth scale action figure stand.

Parker's knowledge of horror films from his A/V club at high school allowed him to survive the virus.
