One would strain to tell the difference between insanity and a mere annoyance, depending on the context. I first picked it up because I found Exurb1a’s YouTube channel and I binged watched 20 of his videos, and I found out that he was also an author. The modern classic of space opera that began with Children of Time continues in this extraordinary novel of humanity's battle for survival on a terraformed planet. You're so desperate for something to pin your peace of mind to that you'll do all sorts of stupid things in its name. First off, yes, I am biased and although I love the work this author does on YouTube it's really been a while since a book has required a bit of intellectual effort from my side, which is a nice breath of fresh air. There is a kind of bravery to our condition, I reckon: brought into being without an explanation, in a potentially infinite and apparently dead universe, and expected to just get on with it as though nothing strange is going on. Dimensional Travel, Teleportation, and Soul Manipulation: Brought himself and Mcalister from Corporia to Etheria. Similar to the novel This is How You Lose the Time War, The Prince of Milk is a story that spans both time and space, but this book mostly focused on a small town in England. But as I said this whole review might be a falsehood brought upon by my extreme bias towards everything that Exurb1a does. Maybe on my second read through the massive amount of characters that are thrown at you won't seem as harsh and this rating will go up. But, for a relatively short book, it is hard to cover this grandiose vision while giving the reader something salient to walk away with at the end.

Here is a quick description and cover image of book The Prince of Milk written by Exurb1a which was published in April 5th 2018. Without him, lovers meet in boring fashions, each hour unfolds as expected, and there aren't any interesting coincidences. Limited Extrasensory Perception: Etherics in Corporia as part of a grudge are able to sense each other. Perception Manipulation: Capable of showing, within his eye, [36] visions of pieces of the Gestalt; The World in Itself, Truly.
