The products are not only free from lactose, gluten and soya, but also benefit from the health advantages of using purely sprouted brown rice to maximise nutrition. As the only brand of its kind currently available on the food market, MozzaRisella is turning this superfood into a variety of products such as cheese, ready meals, yoghurt and ice cream alternatives. Laboratory analysis has shown this plant-based milk contains many important ingredients and nutrients and the amino acid composition and micronutrient content in BioSuRice are similar to that found in human breast milk with 22 amino acids, 8 of which are essential – including gamma-oryzanol or gamma-aminobutyric. Gamma-aminobutyric (GABA) is a neurotransmitter and this amino acid has a very specific function – it is practically a cell activator, giving the starter to the cells to reproduce themselves. What does that mean? The sprout is alive, and it multiplies the amino acids tenfold when it germinates (value 1 in white rice, value 10 in a rice sprout). It’s practically giving the green light to the cells to reproduce because it needs the cells that continue to reproduce themselves to structure its root and stem. When the seed germinates, the fibres triple, other elements quadruple and the gamma-aminobutyric multiplies tenfold.
