Beef crisps are often made to be vegetarian with no actual beef products ending up in the final bag, so great news for everyone. Seasoning: I’ve kept things simple by using a pre-made taco seasoning, but you’re welcome to make your own seasoning blend or just use seasonings that you have at home.

The ground beef can be made in advance then reheated in a microwave. This makes the Mexican appetizers easy to assemble in 10 minutes right before entertaining or a party. Rice: Personally, I love to mix my cooked meat with some cooked rice, but you can skip it if you’re not a fan! You can cook a batch of rice on the stove, but I prefer the simplest route: microwaving a bag of frozen rice. Meat: Feel free to use any ground meat that you prefer, or go with crumbled tofu or your favorite beans for a vegetarian option! These adorable mini taco bites are the perfect, EASY lunch option that you assemble as you eat! Just load all of your components—meat and rice, plus your favorite taco fixin’s—into crunchy scoops tortilla chips and enjoy. Simple, tasty, and satisfying, all with minimal effort and NO baking required! Take the beef out of the 2-3 hours before cooking its chill. Put the potatoes bowl filled with heavily salted water and soak for 1 hour (this removes excess starch and helps season them all the way through). The chips need space to crisp up, so use the biggest roasting tin you have. If they’re still crowded, roast them in 2 tins, one beneath the other, and swap every 30 minutes. Since these taco bowls are mini, use just a small amount of toppings. Or you could fill up the tortilla chips and serve little bowls of toppings on the side where everyone can choose their own. I love creating recipes and cooking for my family and friends. It's great to bringeveryone to my kitchen to talk, laugh and eat. I also like to spread my love for cooking to others. So grab an apron and let's do it together. I promise my recipes will be easy and delicious!

Chips: For these taco bites to work as intended, using scoops tortilla chips is the way to go! Their scooped shape is what makes these bites possible, but of course you can do your best with regular chips if that’s what you can find. Assemble dipper chips on a plate. You can heat these up in a microwave for 10 to 20 seconds if you like them warm. They are great at room temperature too.

If prepping for lunches ahead of time, store cooked meat and rice mixture in an airtight container in the fridge until the time of assembly. Store separately from other taco bites components (like shredded cheese, lettuce, salsa, chips, etc.) This recipe was tested in a Tefal ActiFry Genius XL 2-in-1 air fryer which has 2 sections, a bowl with a paddle and a tray that can be added at the top. Timings may vary for other brands. Find the right air fryer for you with the help of our comprehensive buyer's guide. Read more about air frying here. Sauté the ground beef in a frying pan and mix in the taco sauce. Cook the meat until it is no longer pink. Let it cool for a few minutes. Make the vinegar reduction for the hollandaise (step 5) up to a week ahead, then strain and keep covered in the fridge. Add ground meat, breaking it up into large pieces at first to allow it to brown. Flip large sections of meat and gradually break into smaller pieces as meat cooks. Season to taste with taco seasoning.

Roast rib of beef with beef dripping chips recipe | delicious

While the meat cooks, I just pop a bag of frozen rice into the microwave for a few minutes until it’s cooked. This is the most convenient option for me, but you’re welcome to cook it on the stove instead! Once the meat and rice are both done cooking, I simply stir about a cup of the cooked rice in with the meat and store them together. And the base for my scoops taco bites is ready! Almost everyone loves tacos! Wouldn't you agree? Well, today I am not just making your ordinary beef taco. I am creating a mini taco bowl that can be eaten in one delicious bite.
