Granny B's Helpful Hint: Remember, if you are making 2 litres, double the ingredients, for 3 litres triple it etc. Make it a double. It’s hard to tell this is an alcoholic drink, which means you can double the amount of gin for a stronger tasting drink without overdoing it. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes until much of the water has evaporated. This will create a blueberry syrup. Place a piece of muslin in a colander with small holes, enough to cover it and go around the edges, and place a jug below the colander that will fit however many litres of gin you have made.

Herbs & plants: rosemary, thyme, lavender, mint, elderflowerRemember, the more you use the stronger the flavour. Use around 200-400g of fruit per litre of spirit. After that, give the bottle a shake once to a couple of times a week for the next seven weeks. During this period you will notice the sugar disappear and the colour start to change to a purple/red colour. Pour 2 oz Blueberry syrup over the mint and muddle gently with a muddler, or use end of a wooden spoon.Place 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries into a medium saucepan. Add ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water and stir to combine. Heat over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil. Turn the heat down to medium and stir while boiling for an additional 2 minutes.

Please drink responsibly, be fully accountable with your alcohol consumption, and show others respect. Pour the mixture through the muslin, which will catch the blueberries and other debris. The "purer" fluid will go through into the jug. Don't discard the leftover blueberries. Place in an airtight container and use in porridge, smoothies, bakes, cakes, etc. First, you will want to make the homemade Blueberry Syrup. It's easy to do and can be made ahead of time. See notes or the post for the recipe. Muddle a few blueberries lightly in a glass. Add ice, gin, tonic, lime juice and stir gently until chilled and a little of the juice has infused the drink. Add a few mint leaves (and a slice of lime, if desired) to garnish. For a refreshing drink, simply enjoy Greenall’s Blueberry Gin with tonic or soda water and fresh or frozen blueberries for garnish. If you're hosting a party, make the blueberry syrup ahead. This way you will have less work on the day of the party. Unlike many other flavoured gins, Greenall’s Blueberry Gin contains 0g sugar and no sweeteners. It is made with 100% natural ingredients. Real fruit, real flavour.
