This spectacular vodka from Colwith Farm has now won the prestigious Double Gold Medal for three consecutive years at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition- 20, 21, and 22, elevating Aval Dor Vodka to the rare and very prestigious Platinum Award. Noting Emily’s passion for citrus fruits in her cooking, the obvious step was to distil fresh citrus rinds into our award winning potato vodka in our tiny 200 litre hand-made, copper pot still. This superbly smooth vodka is distilled in small batches, on a column still and is wonderfully silky. Stafford Dustow (as in their original Stafford's Gin) moved to Colwith Farm, near Lanlivery in 1904. This savoury vodka marries the flavours of Cornish rosemary and bay with the added warmth of black pepper. It's infused with leafy green citrus notes of hand picked hops and hints of fresh rosemary and thyme. This vodka was first produced from Colwith Farm potatoes grown on the 400-acre family farm near Fowey in 2018.Taste of the West Gold award-winning Cornish Dry Gin is combined with fresh rhubarb and ginger to make Aval Dor.
