The Nightmare Before Christmas has inspired video game spin-offs, including Oogie's Revenge and The Pumpkin King. You know, Jack visits Thanksgiving world or other kinds of things just because I felt the movie had a purity to it and the people that like it, because it's a mass-market kind of thing, it was important to kind of keep that purity of it. The smallest working puppet in the movie is a doll from the "real world" Jack visits that is only one inch long.Their biggest fear, and why it was kind of a stepchild project, [was] they were afraid of their core audience hating the film and not coming. The quality of the picture is superb, with spot-on display of colors and detail, and nary a print imperfection.

Starting on July 21, 2021, Tokyopop released another sequel manga centered around Sally, titled The Nightmare Before Christmas: Mirror Moon, written by Mallory Reaves and fully-colored series illustrated by Gabriella Chianello, and Nataliya Torretta.
