on me its the rich red rose , red berries for sweetness & the violet for that creaminess & the oh so beautiful amber drydown........and its kind of oddly addicting lol :) Update : There is a really nice almost cotton candy like sweetness there in the dry down which is lovely, however the powder still kind of over powers it. I think id be in love if it wasn't for the strong powderines. To me this is elements of Armani Code mixed with Dolce Garden’s neroli and coconut with a dash of Alien’s jasmine.

TOO2 was a huge disappointment basically. To my nose, I smell the first TOO fragrance, but it's getting covered by strong floral scents. I smell rose and berries in the initial spray. I guess it's alright but I prefer the deeper, yummier TOO. Seems like a lot of flankers are coming out that look like they're gonna be more intense but are actually lighter (see Armani Si and Armani Si Passione, though there are other examples). This is so bland and disappointing. I mean, it's ok... it's wearable, but it's so shy and retiring with no character. I figured it might be a fresh take on The One which my mother wore for date nights and special occasions, and when I was a teenager and didn't have special occasion fragrances of my own, I sometimes wore it too. The One has been watered down so much I don't even recognise it anymore, so I wanted to try this one instead. But this is such a boring flanker, and a boring scent in its own right. It smells sweet and watery. I was curious to try it when reviewers described this as a CEO, boss lady signature fragrance. No, it's not... It's not going to offend anyone, but when it comes to inoffensive scents then there are better options, when it comes to Amber Vanillas there are better options, and when it comes to boss lady fragrances then this doesn't even belong in the list but again, there are better options. Will use up my sample by layering, it's so easy to layer because it doesn't have much substance. You know when brands bring out “intense” and “extreme” versions of perfumes and it’s a total lie? This isn’t one of those. It’s intense and it means it. If you prefer to go unnoticed and under the radar, don’t buy this one, it’s got presence. If only coffee WAS detectable, it could have maybe worked out better. Citruses as well are mute. This is just powder, sugar, and more powder, and sugar, layer after layer until a faint - and dizzy at this point - feeble floral note attempts to make its appearance.

I just feel like it’s not just sitting on my skin, it becomes part of me and I really, really really love it beyond words or reasons. I’m at my third bottle, and it’s the only perfume I never get tired of.I will never forget the day I first smelled The Only One, and fell in love with it. I was at my sister's, sleep deprived and hormonal from breastfeeding my then four month old, and when I finally gave my arms a break and handed my fitfully sleeping baby to my sister just so I could use the restroom, I spent a few minutes there just gathering myself. That's when my eyes fell on the sample of The Only One she had in her bathroom, and without thinking much, I sprayed it on my arm. You know how some perfumes immediately make you smile, and you know, you simply know in those very first moments that you love it? Well, The Only One was that perfume for me. The Only One fragrance that came out in late August 2018 as a new flanker of the original The One from 2006, gets its sequel in the form of the new edition The Only One 2. The first fragrance brought the composition of a gourmand iris in combination with coffee, while chapter 2 introduces a scent of powdery rose and violet with a sweet coffee note. The Only One 2 will be released in mid-February 2019. But it gets killed immediately. In fact, killing me softly makes a more appropriate name for this number. D&G The Only One INTENSE has not much in common with its previous 'the only one' flankers imo. - I think, it is the the best of all the flankers, as it seems to be the most grown. The thing is, what is it with D&G and the apple note? Did they buy the stuff in large barrels in the nineties and still need to get wrid of it? Lol. It get's me so nausiated. 🤢

Update: okay so I’ve given this some wear and it does settle nicely and is wearable in summer. My complaint is that the middle, which is my favorite part, only lasts an hour or so. I’d say this only projects for 3-4 hours which is surprising for being the ‘intense’ version. It's a sweet, floral, amber scent with some freshness in there, mainly from the green apple. Jasmine is right in my alley and it merges amazingly with the coconut (something I would never have thought). The composition symbolizes the scent of love, seduction and lust, presented with a bottle in ruby red colour. Oh, and there is Coconut, yes, but It's not overwhelming. (I actually don't like Coconut in fragrances, as Coco tend to smell "burnt" or playdough-like on my skin.) - And with this D&G scent I do get a tiny bit of something "burnt" for a short time, which is not bothering me at all. The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense builds on the floriental legacy of The Only One line with a captivating new scent. Like the woman it represents, the fragrance is an intricate combination of intense and solar sensuality. Alluringly feminine and irresistibly seductive, its signature lies in the surprising combination of dazzling goldI think my nose got so used to the scent so fast that I can't smell it anymore because apparently other people can.
