Ensure you are using the correct Washer type for the head of the fixing - you MUST use a CSK Washer with Countersunk-head fixings, and F/B Washer for all "flat-bottomed" fixings such as pan-heads, flange-heads etc. Great product with a wide colour range and good size options, fast delivery, great price and very helpful customer service, would definately recommend giving them a try. Colour caps are used to cover screw heads for a seamless, professional look. These coloured roofing screws covers provide a colour matched finish in over a dozen shades. You are not using the correct technique to fit the Cap to the Washer. Because Snap-Caps are designed and moulded to very fine tolerances, the caps cannot be pushed on "flat". Do NOT hit Caps with a hammer (or similar) - it will cause the Caps to split

I need a method to cover screws for a high end client at a blue chip event and Snap-caps fitted the bill perfectly, not only was the product great the range of colours gave a perfect finish. It all has to do with how gases and water vapour behave in enclosed spaces, and is governed by a few Laws of Physics, such as Boyle’s, Charles’, Dalton’s & Henry’s. In essence, once water enters a space (because it is not sealed properly) instead of the water evaporating out again later, it becomes water vapour and remains in the space for a much longer time.
