The fragrance opens with sumptuous notes of bergamot, black currant, ginger, lemon, lime and violet leaf. Of note is that when it got onto my jacket and turtleneck, the scent would remain for weeks, showing just how potent it is. Presentation is a little tacky but the quality is great, bottle feels good to hold with solid heft and the atomizer is great as well.

A great alternative for someone who is not a fan of the typical "blue" frags, but still wants to smell clean. I feel like this can be pushed through mild winter days even, and it would be interesting to see how the scent develops in the cold weather. when asked 'which of the two smells like it's more expensive', mixed opinion was received, mostly because the CDN Sillage has better longevity.This is super unisex- starts masculine, but the deep drydown leans feminine, so everyone can enjoy it. i live by the lake and evening stroll around the lake people go crazy about the Sillage of the dry down. For reference, I think Club de Nuit Milestone is a very good dupe of Millesime Imperial; so I am not slagging clones or this house in general.

I feel that the heavier ambroxan/metallic note makes this work better as a cool weather scent compared to the newer batches but consequently, it is absolutely a monster performance wise.
