The texture very much reminds me of a mix between the Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighters and the Colourpop Supershock highlighters.

When I bought these I was a bit skeptical as it just looked like another champagne and rose gold highlighter but these truly are something else and at only €3.Using a small fluffy brush, apply essence The Highlighter to the tops of the cheekbones, inner corners of the eyes, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow and across the brow bone to create a glowy, naturally highlighted appearance!

This highlighter is available in two shades that I think can appeal to many people with many different skin tones. These new Essence highligthers are a hit in my book and if you want a no frills-gets the job done kind of highlighter these are definitely worth it.

These are smooth, blendable highlighters that result in a glass like finish on the skin but without leaving a weird cast. For sure I thought I would love the champagne one on my more as the rose seemed a bit dark and as if it had a cast. Before we get into the review it is good to know that these products just launched last month in the EU. I prefer the rose on me as it clashes a little less and it is a bit more unique in my personal makeup collection. These are highlighters with a transparent, luminous base that just have a difference in undertone: the champagne has a warm undertone the rose has a cool undertone.

The shades are a bit standard perhaps, but these last well, give a great deal of a glass like shine and do not look super obvious on the skin. This baked highlighter powder features an ultra smooth texture that effortlessly adds fresh and luminous accents to your face. There is no weird cast, the glow is spot on not too much and not too little and I think they can work for a multitude of skin tones because of it.
