The recline is deeper offering near flat recline (in the European version at least, because it’s not as deep US & Australian versions due to recline laws on compact strollers – it makes the stroller less stable). In Europe most people hate Doona. My friend was getting yelled at left and right at the grocery store for rolling with her baby in Doona, because it’s not healthy to keep an infant in a car seat for extended periods of time. It’s a common practice in the US, but not anywhere else really. It’s not only bad for them but also gets super hot inside the car seat in the summer.

Babyzen Yoyo+ Stroller review - Lightweight buggies Babyzen Yoyo+ Stroller review - Lightweight buggies

Fold requires two steps (and for one step, two hands), compared with one-step, one-hand folded of TRVL The only step that requires two hands is folding the canopy, but you can do it when the baby is still sitting in the stroller. Thanks for the great explanation! I have the Libelle but am considering returning it and switching for the Yoyo. My primary issue is that my son slouches too much in the Libelle. You mentioned the seat profile not being ideal on the Libelle. Do you experience this on the Yoyo as well or is it notably better? I was a bit surprised when I discovered the recline of Bugaboo Butterly isn’t great. The stroller reclines visibly less than Babyzen Yoyo and slightly less than Joolz Aer. It’s crazy, because so many retailers claimed Butterfly has a lower recline but in reality, it’s not the case. Here’s why you may need a bumper bar (belly bar) on your stroller, in case you are wondering whether you really need a bumper bar for your stroller.. We never bought the rolling bag, just hang a regular diaper bag off the handle and it works fine – AKA doesn’t fall over. Babyzen surely feels sturdier and when you move the handlebar it doesn’t shake as much as Libelle. I can also hang a diaper bag off it with or without the child sitting in the stroller, but I cannot do it with Libelle because the stroller trips. Cybex Libelle Review: Verdict & Final Thoughts

BabyZen Yoyo Stroller Hack: Adjustable Footrest — MOMMY SIMPLY BabyZen Yoyo Stroller Hack: Adjustable Footrest — MOMMY SIMPLY

Nuna upped the game in 2021 by introducing the TRVL, another high-quality and compact stroller that adds convenient features like an automatic fold and adapter-free compatibility with Nuna PIPA infant car seats. The basket is very spacious and it’s a huge plus for a compact stroller. I was able to put my own purse, along with two big bags of shopping in without any major issues.Technically, neither stroller is a perfect fit for common airline carry-on requirements, but the YOYO2 is close—and Babyzen advertises that its stroller is accepted as cabin luggage by most airlines. There’s been a huge buzz surrounding Bugaboo Butterfly as it’s been a highly advertised stroller and appeared to be one of the best-designed strollers from Bugaboo. Many people are debating getting Bugaboo Butterfly vs Babyzen Yoyo (or the new Nuna Trvl), so I had to see what the fuss what about – despite being satisfied with our Babyzen Yoyo. It folds but you need a little push at the end and the carry strap gets lost in the stroller.Once folded, you can carry the stroller using a shoulder strap or by using a footrest handle. The TRVL includes one feature that's sold as a separate accessory for the YOYO (a leg rest) and one that isn't available from Babyzen (a bumper bar). My personal tip for making a child nap if they refuse in the stroller is actually not reclining at first at all. Sounds crazy, but it worked magic and I learned it by accident when I had to rent a non-reclinable stroller at a theme park. If the recline was going down the child instantly knew that it’s time for a nap and tantrums started vs we would let him get tired on his own and he would fall asleep sitting we would carefully recline the stroller after. I will say that it doesn’t always work, because we had a fully flat wagon on our last trip and despite multiple attempts the second child did not nap at all for multiple days in a row – it’s just his personality I guess.

Neutral Stroller Bar for Babyzen YoYo and Yoyo+ - Armrest

Full disclosure:I bought this stroller myself. I wasn’t paid or given a sample, so this review is as objective as can be. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments. Since we first got Babyzen Yoyo I’ve owned a dozen of compact strollers and honestly, I’m yet to find a stroller that comes close to it without sacrificing the size. This is only a fraction of all the strollers I’ve owned. The YOYO is closest to the carry-on requirement size of airlines like Delta and American (22" x 14" x 9"). Ergo has adjustable parental bar while Yoyo doesn’t. It can be a pro, but also a con as adjustable things are naturally more prone to loosening up and wobbling. Another thing that I think it’s worth mentioning is that while lightweight, it’s sturdy. Before I owned other travel strollers I thought it was a norm that the stroller wouldn’t tip over with a diaper bag attached to a handle, but I was wrong. Every other stroller tips over (yes, including Joolz Aer and Bugaboo Butterfly) but not Yoyo. It’s honestly incredible! Both stroller canopies offer ample sun coverage with UPF 50+ protection, as well as a peek-a-boo window that's plastic for the YOYO and mesh for the TRVL. And both models include water-repellent fabrics and a leatherette handlebar. I definitely think that Joolz Aer is worth splurging on, especially if you’re looking for a stroller for tall and/or older kids. It’s not a stroller that will fall apart on you and something that will surely hold its value over time. The storage isn’t huge and while I can hang the diaper bag off other strollers, it doesn’t work well with Libelle so I wouldn’t count on the possibility of bringing a lot. However, if you’re thinking of buying it as an “emergency stroller” for an older child Libelle will fit underneath a full-size stroller basket along with other items 😉 Seat Design It folds & unfolds incredibly well with one hand and the seat is sturdy and tall, plus has a ton of storage which is a huge plus for a travel stroller. My older son has used the Yoyo here and there and he still fits under the canopy just fine at 41.5 inches tall (105cm), so while the seat isn’t as tall as on some other strollers it doesn’t matter.
