If the game doesn’t sound all that interesting to you it probably won’t be for you. If you have kids that like these type of games I think they will really enjoy Drone Home. Even if you don’t have kids I think you could enjoy Drone Home if you like these type of games. The first player to successfully return their three aliens to their home will win the game. If two players get rid of their third alien on the same turn the two players will compete in a tie-breaker round. The first tied player to get one of their aliens into the drone and have it take off wins the game. My Thoughts on Drone Home The next step was to try and narrow down our search even more. So we’ve already looked the prices of products in the Board games category. Then we’ve also looked at the prices of products from Interplay Games. So this step combines the two and looks specifically at the price you’d expect to pay for Interplay Games branded products in the Board games category.

Next up is material. Read through the product description for Drone Home Game to get an understanding of the materials the product is made from. Some materials will obviously be known for delivering better quality item than others. You might also have decided that you’ll only accept a product made from a particular material. Zatu has an excellent range of games and for most of them the best prices too. Delivery is always fast and I have never received a game in bad condition. 10/10 would recommend. For ages 8 years+. Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts that may represent a choking hazard. Before receiving Drone Home from PlayMonster I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about the components. I can’t say that I expected much from a drone that was included in a game meant for children. You can’t control the drone in any way as it doesn’t include a remote, but I was otherwise impressed with it. The drone generally rises at least a couple feet in the air each time and it actually hovers better than I was expecting. Due to this I would recommend playing the game away from things that are easily breakable as the drone could fly into them before you catch it. The thing that I was most skeptical about was how long the drone would last before it broke. The drone can sometimes crash pretty hard into the table or floor. Once the drone completely wiped out where I was positive that it probably broke, but it survived without any significant damage. I am a little worried that it will break after enough crashes though. For this reason I would probably recommend trying to catch the drone from the bottom after it starts to descend. This is actually really easy to do and should reduce the amount of damage that the drone sustains. The other components are solid as well. Should You Buy Drone Home?Before you play the game you need to use the USB cord and a wall charger to power the drone’s battery for around ten minutes. The orange and red player got one of their aliens into the drone before it took off. These two aliens have returned home and are removed from the game. We were really impressed with how well this little toy drone flew, especially with one (and sometimes two, if they arrived at the same time) aliens on board. It also seems pretty durable; clearly designed to withstand collisions with lighting fixtures and crashes to the floor.

Since our first batch of Drone Home we have updated our instructions to include the following (as of January 2021)

Each player chooses a color and takes the launcher and aliens of that color. Everyone attaches their launcher to the launch pad. Store the Drone at room temperature in cool or shaded areas. Do not store in extreme temperatures. Avoid storing in direct sunlight, hot cars or very cold temperatures.

Do not launch the Drone when it is under a light fixture, fan, or any item that could damage the Drone.

Of the 321 products, we discovered that 75 were more expensive and 163 were cheaper than Drone Home Game. Prices from Interplay Games As you can imagine, pricing is one of the most important factors of any purchasing decision. We can find the perfect product for our needs, that fits the brief in every single way. But if it doesn’t fit our budgets, we simply can’t (or at least shouldn’t) buy it.
