With the COVID-19 pandemic bringing many productions to a halt in 2020, the creative team behind Anna Todd’s After series were able to film the third and fourth films back to back in Bulgaria. Troy Ealing and Liberty Jackman - an amalgamation of second and third generation characters in this story.

Hearing the narrative of the first-generation characters really made the journey full circle, seeing firsthand how their stories end after having grown up with them. Contrary to traditional beliefs, the act of consulting a sexologist is becoming more prevalent, indicating a shift towards prioritizing sexual well-being. Over the years, Tobey has attributed his achievements to hard work and his purpose as doing good in the world, when really, it was down to his criminal involvement in being the mastermind behind a notorious gang. I hoped that this final book, Endgame, would clear everything up and bring back the feeling of the previous books, and thankfully, it did.Publication dates are subject to change (although this is an extremely uncommon occurrence overall). True to Malorie Blackman’s usual style of writing in the Noughts and Crosses series, Endgame’s narrative jumps back between the various characters, plus scenes that throw the reader back to Dan Jeavon’s notorious party, adding further to the tension and suspense that builds up and up for the reader until the story reaches its final climax. If a man, during his teenage years, can sleep with another woman (and consequently, impregnate her) to spite his girlfriend, he can do anything. In this article, we'll explore the commonality of seeking a sexologist among couples, addressing misconceptions, benefits, and the evolving role of sexology in contemporary society. However, the holes in his character arc were too lumpy for me to ignore, and I still felt like I didn't “get” him for swathes of the book – even when I was in his head. With Endgame being the final book in this series, I was stuck in the position of really wanting to read on, find out what would happen next, and finish this series and wanting to savour every last word, and never finish the book! What’s more, the character of Libby also explores the way in which history is taught in regard to race, and the issues of not teaching Black British history in schools. I still stand by the first book being unbeatable, but the entire series has been incredible and told so well it was as though it was happening before me.

The cliffhanger ending will leave fans desperately awaiting the next installment’ Mail on Sunday, ‘Must-Read Books of the year, 2019’ on Crossfire. Still a strong four-star read for me - a great collection of books which will no doubt be treasured on readers' bookshelves for many years, together with other great YA series like Harry Potter and His Dark Materials - 9/10. In 2005 Malorie was honoured with the Eleanor Farjeon Award in recognition of her distinguished contribution to the world of children's books.I can’t really fault this book, or any of Blackman’s for that matter: the only thing I wished is that more books will come, but that’s not going to happen. It seems that Sonny did it, but given that Sephy died before they could have a proper talk, no real and concrete answer was given. I just finished the last 2 books in the Noughts and Crosses series and I was right to wait for book 6 before reading book 5 because whew that cliffhanger at the end of book 5. This final book in Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses series, picks up right where the previous book, Crossfire, left off with its high-tension cliff-hanger. It also has some ‘then’ and ‘now’ sections towards the beginning, to give the reader some background information on the situation taking place.

In some ways, the epilogue 'Three months later' detracted a bit from my overall enjoyment of the book, which was heading for a 5-star read up to then.
