I also feel like there was just so much going on in this book, and I struggled to follow every aspect of the story by the end without thinking about all of their characters and their motivations. In some ways, the epilogue 'Three months later' detracted a bit from my overall enjoyment of the book, which was heading for a 5-star read up to then.
