there's also no real wedding, no children and no growing old together but what was i expecting when the root basic problem (which is communication) is not even solved. This manga's ending left you with nothing but this lingering feeling of unsatisfaction because it ruined your nostalgic teen love for it. If you have a partner, pls treat them right. It would have been a lovely manga if Yuki loved Naruse better: giving him all her attention, appreciating him more, caring less about what other people think, making him feel safe, sayinf love affirmations to him more (look how happy Naruse is even with Yuki's small confirmations of love, which is a good progress from Yuki, if it's not for the latest chapters that ruined everything). Shou Naruse is very straightforward and arrogant. He doesn't care what other people think of him. He is very tall and he has piercings on both of his ears. He is the ace player of the Ryuhoku High's basketball team and has been a basketball player since he was 6 years old. He was tall since he was a kid so he was considered as the "most important player" in their team even though he plays the game with little effort.

I think the story and the plot are awesome! When I started read the first chapter, I feel like…wow! The opening story is really interesting and reading next chapter just make me want some more. Despite the iron-will and independent persona, Yuki is aware that she has to change and improve on herself to add Shou in her life that's already filled with responsibilities. Aside from this, I found Yuki's tsundere moments a bit cute and not disastrous, because it's evident that she is trying to become more honest but sometimes, she just can't lol Cheeky Brat is written and illustrated by Mitsubachi Miyuki. It was serialized in the bimonthly magazine Hana to Yume from November 2013 to December 2021. Yen Press is publishing the series in English.

Shoujo syndrome had reared its ugly head as early as 25~th or so chapter. It wasn't hard to recognize that the manga was getting fairly popular by this point and, by simple extension of logic, I could see the future and, indeed, Yo, I ain’t a reviewer and I have never reviewed a manga before but this manga pissed me off so much that I had to write about it. Still, she's a pretty admirable character, because she always works behind-the-scenes, and is always determined to reach her goals. She's always selfless even if she doesn't show it in front of others. Also, the story really portrays that manager-basketball club relationship well, because I totally imagine Yuki being like the older sister of a bunch of kids. HOW I WANT AN OLDER SISTER LIKE YUKIII just so intense to see those 2 rivals. and with that, they have really made this manga a ton of blast. though its not over yet.

Both characters are extremely petty, yet outright refuse to talk about it when it matters. They're both jealous, with one being more open about it (well, rather than MORE open, just plain open) and the other more on the passive-aggressive side of things. They dated for like a year already, and they have 0 trust in each other. Aah, woe is me~~ I personally view this to be a little bit focused on the romance more than the basketball aspect but they are similarly cliche in the romance plot and basketball rivalry part. maybe it's just that i have a big guy's body with a little girl's heart. but enough with that, lets just get straight in with the review. This dude is so possessive and rough and annoying, i mean do i even have to say anything he literally groped the yuki girl the first chapter Ressler, Karen (July 4, 2018). "Japanese Comic Ranking, June 25-July 1". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018. A live-action short movie was released on Hakusensha's official YouTube channel on February 20, 2018 to promote the release of the 12th volume. The film starred Kaho Mizutani as Yuki and Ikumi Isaka as Sho. [3] Reception [ edit ] He likes his manager, Yuki. When he first met Yuki, a girl pushed him which caused his hand to land on Yuki's breasts, and said that her breasts "were really big". The two then encountered each other more since Shou joined the school's Basketball Team where Yuki is the manager. He started following Yuki more since he was interested in her. He said that he could understand Yuki and "see through her". He was the only one who found out that Yuki had a crush on Kido. The plot hasn’t worn me out yet. I’ve been reading a lot of shoujo manga and some of them have women leads who always resort to crying and pushing away their partners before they realise they love the other person. Although Namaikizakari started off that way, the author didn’t consume so many chapters just for Machida to realize her feelings for Naruse. I didn’t reach that point where I get frustrated with the main lead, which usually happens

I'm okay with him, although I think the story exaggerated his girl-phobia a lot. But he does remind me of Yuki, with how passionate he is for basketball and determined to complete his goals. That makes me admire him a lot.First of all, Yuki, (the female protagonist) doesn’t take any of Naruse’s (the male protagonist) feelings in consideration. volume (February 19, 2016) - chapters 31-35 +bonus chapter; Cheeky Brat "That-If": Idol Agency; Cheeky Brat "What-If": Host Club; Something Else That Happened on That Fateful Day
