Description

The off-road ambulance is an interesting concept and it's nice to see an ambulance in a set without a hospital. The mountain biker has two facial expressions, one ‘ cocky‘ and one worried, which makes sense and fits in with the story of the set. I really like the LEGO City vehicles, both the 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance and the Police Dog Training (60369) jeep have great body shapes and suit the off-road style well. Its boxart follows suit of the LEGO City theme, with a dominantly blue design, add in some forest elemts and a Cityscape in the background and hey presto, decent enough box design.

The set features 3 Minifigures, a 4×4 off-road ambulance, a navy blue mountain bike and a small build of a rock formation and tree.My friend the six-figure corporate lawyer can afford these GWP purchases without a significant dent in his income. The newsletter I received this morning mentioned that there would be double VIP points from 10 to 16 February.

TL;DR Just trying to find some middle ground between “GWPs are fine cry moar poors” and “LEGO is as guilty as Fortnite. Kids can head off the beaten track for heroic rescue adventures with this LEGO® City 4x4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue (40582) playset, featuring a rugged toy ambulance, a mountain bike and a dirt track setting.Overall a great little set, although the GWP spend threshold is a little steep, I think it’s worth picking up even if on the secondary market. Otherwise, the entire COLLECTIBLES industry is inherently predatory - and a single Hot Toys figure costs as much as a flagship Creator Expert set, and are FAR more limited in quantity. I'd have more concern if I heard frequent stories of people becoming homeless because their life was eaten by excess GWP purchases. The 162 piece set features three Minifigures, a 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance, a Navy blue Mountain bike and a very small side-build of a rock formation and tree.

The small space is because the ambulance has a mobile CT scanner, just love to know how they lifted him so high. Emphasis on "subjectively"--it's your own value judgment as to who's a sucker on these purchases and who isn't. Moreover, if it weren't for the Neon Yellow accents it would have the same colours as the garbage truck, and that's a bit odd.

This is definitely a predatory business practice and is employed by so many companies, and especially Triple A Video Game companies, with limit time cosmetics and exclusives. It was already rumored to be a gift-with-purchase, and it's also in the same set number range as other recent promotions - right in between Tahu and Takua and Houses of the World 1. The upcoming 40582 4×4 Off-Road Ambulance Rescue is scheduled to be available from February 10 to 16 with purchases of €100 or more on any LEGO sets, according to confirmation from the LEGO Group. I hardly see the point of making a GWP that is not extremely desirable as there is no incentive whatsoever to go the extra mile for this set - it has no special redeeming feature (minifig, parts, recolour, even nostalgia, etc) (don't get me wrong, it's ok but nothing special).
