We have tried to make our Roman-style armor as authentic as possible whilst still making it comfortable and practical to wear. We have based most of our designs on historical prototypes to ensure they are as close as possible to the real thing, with our own twist to make it a little bit special for you. Put together the perfect roman kit Let’s not forget about clothing as well - after all, you can’t be nude under all of that armor! The roman tunic is an absolute staple for your ancient wardrobe, as they are comfortable, adjustable, and easy to wear for basically any body type! Don’t forget these vital pieces when it comes to completing your costume and having a cohesive look: I obtained my information to build this Cylon costume from various sources and friends who helped me to make this possible.

This Cylon costume is 100% COMPLETE, you will NOT have to modify it or search to buy weapons as it comes with the sword & scabbard, a working rifle, and working bulb scanner. I will also include a 1 hour CD of the sound effects (eye "warble" sound and professionally made Cylon voices using an analog vocoder) which contains much more phrases than the movies and series combined!! The costume will be fully insured and I would like to see it go to the hands of someone who really wants Now, thru the grommet in the strap, I ran cord thru the button, thru the two chest holes and tied them with knots on the inside of the chest armor. Our “Cassius” collection embodies everything we love about Roman armor and clothing - it is basic, functional, but still beautiful. The sheer amount of technology that the Romans developed is awe-inspiring, which makes it easy to fall in love with such an amazing time period and the artifacts that go with it. Roman clothing and armor is handsome, practical, and also amazingly well documented, which makes our job easier! The Romans had an astute commitment to recording their military tactics, regalia, and life. A brush (image 9)I made a brush from the cut off ends from my broom - a little duct tape and you have a perfect swirling brush. The tape should be fairly close to the end of the bristle, when i tried to use it on the other end, the bristles started breaking. Eagle chest plate (images 1 &2)I found this small toy shield at a dollar store. It looks good for armor. It was cheap. This part was rather difficult to make it look how I wanted it to look. In the end, it looks fine, but I'm still overly critical of it.

In the late Republic, centurions were paid five times more than a normal legionary. Centurions also received a higher bonus from war booty, as, for example, in 64 BCE when Pompey gave each centurion a bonus of 1,000 drachmas whilst legionaries got only 50 drachmas each. By the 1st century CE, centurions were getting 15 times the pay of a legionary; senior centurions considerably more. Centurions were also notorious for bolstering their pay with bribes, as it was they who assigned duties and recommended promotions for the men below them. Famous CenturionsI then used this template to cut curved pieces to sandwich the broom between, since I knew that I'd need to attach the broom at another time. I eyeballed the whole thing including the flap size. Flexibility of design is key.

I got the buttons from a bag of buttons my girlfriend got from her friend. Silver, big and shiny were perfect! Cut points at the bottom (image 7) =I eyeballed the same distance on each piece and cut a point on them. I figured I could re-use the scrap triangles that came from cutting each piece. This gave me something to decorate my skirt with. Cassius was a straight forward man: he enlisted to dedicate his life to the emperor and spent every waking moment serving to the best of his ability. It was difficult to pinpoint exactly when his shift in attitude occurred, and what led to the decision to plot the emperor’s downfall- but when you deal with tyranny day in, day out, the romance of fighting for such a man begins to fade. On the day of the emperor’s assassination, one thing was clear: that day, Cassius was no longer serving the emperor. That day, he was fighting for Rome.A textureSimply squirting glue onto the cardboard, (image 6) I used the bottle's attached glue spreader (images 7-8). This is perfect in that Real roman armor was usually made out of iron and bronze. Given that we live in the modern world, making armor out of these materials it’s not really practical anymore, which is why we decided to make it from stainless steel with brass accents. These materials are more durable, more readily available, and still, look just as good! Roman armor at a discount This can be used for a variety of different things - not just this costume, I started getting some awesome ideas for what i could do with this technique, but alas, I get distracted too easily, so those were put to rest.
