If these are just ports of the mobile versions, like San Andreas HD was on PS3, this will be a hard pass. I hated the control changes from the "HD" release, among other changes to it. I hope we get all the GTAs (III-V) and the first Red Dead (huge stretch, but love to play it on the go). I've been wanting GTA games on Switch since the system first came out so I'm super excited for this! Especially since I haven't played the older GTA games! if anything, this gat trilogy release puts into perspective just how good a job Nintendo did with porting their games- they are all solid ports of the originals (with small upgrades) while maintaining what made the originals so special. I could understand botching a port for GTA V (if that ever came around). The game has a huge file size, even for the PS3 and 360. This, however, could have been avoided entirely had they decided to focus on the Switch, then make massive improvements on other platforms. They seriously need to start thinking like Capcom.

Especially for people who have grown up in an already fussy generation, you can’t help but be fussy. Am I the only one not impressed? The switch needs a better grandtheft auto game like the current ones(iv & v) and not some 20years ago games that have outlived its usefulness. Not buying. When I read the article title, I was half hoping GTA2 would be in there somehow... and for cheeeeap. This is not a case of the hardware not able to handle these games, it's a case of the dev just being lazy and greedy and they 100% deserve those low scores.

Really surprised this has taken so long, seems an obvious thing to do and will no doubt do very well. Klump_Soul very few of these comments are coming from personal experience, and if others want to just jump on the bandwagon and start parroting information that isn't actually true, there's nothing anyone can do about that. I love that this trilogy may be getting a remaster. (Though maybe I'm alone here, but I collectively consider them the full GTA 3 experience and not so much a trilogy exactly, if that makes sense). If you watch 5 minutes of video for these games, all the above issues (FPS chop, blurriness, weird character models, pop in, etc.) are quite obvious, not sure what others are arguing about.
