In this review, I will be discussing the Simgot EM6L, comparing it with the Xenns Mangird Top and QKZ HBB Khan. I have tested the EM6L using the Moondrop Moonriver 2 Ti and Fiio Q3 Dac Amp. I did a comparison on the Sennheiser IE300 with the CP100+ and CP360. My ears detected the following characteristics: The SpinFit CP360 are the first tips SpinFit developed specifically for “true wireless” earphones: they’re much shorter than the others because they need to fit in the cases, which often offer very little space for eartips. This means they can’t count on the depth of the insertion to give you isolation and have instead to rely on width: the ear canal is larger at the entrance and so these eartips need to be wider to seal it. In fact these are among the few SpinFit models to offer an XL size (on top of L, M, S and SS) and that’s because of this. The L size is 13 mm in width and 8.5 mm in height, while the XL is even larger at 14 mm wide and 8.5 mm high. They are basically shorter CP100! That’s also true when you look at their shape, which is similar but more compact. The inner diameter is 3.6 mm.

It is impressive the quality of refinement the SpinFit tips are able to extract from the top-end. This is likely owing to its ability to create an effective seal and direct frequencies straight towards the eardrum. Synergy & PairingAnother effect on the sound I find that SpinFits can have is a slight boost and opening up of the upper mids region. Instruments like trumpets, clarinets and flutes can become more prominent and forward. Depending on the tips you are coming from, it can have a slight increase in the perceived soundstage as well. On top of that, you can tell from the graph below that the CP100/CP100+ have slightly higher peaks in the lower treble as compared to regular foam tips as well. From the naked eye, they appear identical to the CP100 except the colour. They also feel similar in my ears. The audio quality is also exhibits similar characteristics, although I had an impression that the CP100+ produces slightly clearer upper frequencies like cymbals. Given the CP100 has been on sale for so many years, it’s good to get an upgrade with better silicone materials. SpinFit CP360 With all that said, there have also been times where the CP100 don’t help with the fit. Some notable experiences were with my Sony EX-1000 and DQSM Hermit. These two earphones didn’t benefit from the rotation of the tips because of the way they sit in the ear and their weight distribution. However, fit if of course subjective and your experience may differ. Performance

CP360 and CP1025 are designed for TWS earphones. CP360 is designed to provide a deeper fit, while CP1025 is more shallow. While both will fit on most TWS earphones, some charging cases may not be compatible with the CP360. CP1025 is also available with adapters for Apple AirPods Pro and Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. W1The big difference in most of the models is the size of the bore for the IEM nozzle. Generally you want a tip that’s easy to get on, but not TOO easy to make sure that you have a tight secure fit. The more secure the fit, the better your isolation will be, but if you go with something that’s too snug you’ll risk damaging the eartips when you take them on or off. The wearing experience is very similar to the CP145, but due to the additional stiffness they can feel a bit more fatiguing during long runs. While the dome is made of the same silicone, the different inner bore has a small impact on comfort. Soundwise they are also quite close to the CP100, so they have very little impact (if any) on the sound and allow you to hear it as intended by the manufacturer of the earphones. Spinfit SpinFit claim their double-flange tip to offer ‘triple-flange’ isolation. However, Etymotic’s triple-flange eartips generally offered superior levels of noise isolation when compared to SpinFit’s model. With that said, the SpinFit double flange tip was far superior in comfort and it was surprisingly unobtrusive in prolonged listening sessions. With the easy 360 o rotation, the SpinFit ear tips were perhaps the easiest silicone eartips to install and remove from any in-ear monitor nozzle.

The SpinFit CP100 are the basic model, which by shape and feel most closely resemble “standard” eartips. They are conical (a wide ogive, to be exact) and offer a diameter of 4 mm which fits most earphones (including the Campfire Audio Vega 2020 and Dorado 2020, the Thieaudio Legacy 4, the Tin HiFi T2), but which is also a bit tight for earphones with larger nozzles. Still, they’re the ones that will probably fit the larger number of earphones, as they do just fine even with those that have a smaller nozzle like the Legacy 4. They come in 5 different sizes: SS (XS would have probably been better), S, M, L and XL. As they get the deepest inside the ears, the CP155 are also the ones I’ve found myself the least comfortable with on the first try. It takes around five minutes for the silicone to warm up and for my ears to adapt, but then it’s almost as if I wasn’t wearing them at all. Due to their shape they offer an almost perfect seal, so if the earphones you’re wearing provide any isolation at all you probably won’t hear a thing of what’s around you without needing active noise cancellation. He’s a penchant for the academia and research, though life is strange so he’s still unsure how things will turn out in the long run. In this round-up, we shall explore how well this mechanism works across a variety of IEMs. Models to be evaluated: Spinfit CP-100, CP-100+, CP-145, CP-145 (medical-grade silicone), CP-240, CP-360, CP-500, and the CP-800. The only two in-production models that I don’t have with me are the CP-155 (I don’t have a large-nozzle IEM at the moment) and the Airpod-specific CP-1025 (I don’t have an Airpod). With that out of the way, let’s head right in.

SpinFit CP100

As I mentioned earlier, the CP100 and CP100+ are vastly similar in sonic properties and are almost indistinguishable. I have included a frequency response measurement comparing the CP100, CP100+ and a random pair of foam tips as a control for some comparison.
