As a final feature, Corsair advertises the floor castors, which allow the chair to glide easily over the floor. In fact, we can confirm this: In comparison, the T3 Rush moves very smoothly over surfaces – but not too easily either. Compared to many other gaming chairs, the chair is much easier to move from the spot, although we consider this advantage to be a nice extra: If you have it, you’ll be happy – and if you’re used to the heavier castors of many other chairs, you’ll still be able to cope with them. Fulness For the cost of entry, the T3 Rush still feels like a generous offering. After putting it together, the finish issues weren’t noticeable and the plastic is perfectly functional. Given my size, even the thinner foam didn’t really impact me. Instead, you have a chair that sacrifices little and delivers a lot at a substantial discount against other competitors in its category. Corsair T3 Rush – Assembly

Building the TC200 was straightforward, but, like always, I try to make the builds as 'difficult' as I can, by not asking for help from friends and building it in my tiny gaming space. This was another easy offering from Corsair, with simple-to-follow instructions and about a 15-minute build time. The chair goes together quite easily, and a bit of common sense means you can’t go far wrong. Meanwhile, the head cushion also has cold molded foam as well as some quality leather. The base is still the usual 5-star steel base but reinforced for extra stability and strength. With a max load of 120 kilograms and a 5’3 to 6 ft. suitable height, it’s a pretty decent gaming chair height all told. Just like the Corsair T3 Rush I tested and reviewed, this chair is available in a variety of colours, with the added option of a leatherette (read: 'faux leather') option. Our unit came in charcoal - the other options being grey and white (the colourway of my T3 Rush which is the colourway I have the T3 Rush in), charcoal and white, and a charcoal-coloured leatherette. Any choice you make will leave you pleased with its appearance, as it is a well-designed and finished chair from an aesthetic point of view. However, I would say that fabric edges it over leather or leatherette for me in a chair, as it regulates temperature better. All in all, think of the Secretlab Titan Evo XL as a bigger brother to most of the gaming chairs on this list. It certainly has the height and the frame for it.

There are also some issues with the overall fit and finish. The recline handle on the unit I received was marred with marks and plastic burrs from the mold, though this could just be my unit. On the underside of the chair, two of the bolts also had unsightly masses from the welding process pictured below. Since this is out of sight, it doesn’t make a meaningful difference but it did stand out to me when I was putting the chair together. The foam here is also notably thinner than either of Corsair’s other chairs, or the two Noblechairs I had on hand to compare against. The actual seat cushions are fine, if a bit firm, but you can easily feel the metal frame inside the seat bolsters. The T3 Rush is one of the few chairs I’ve ever had this happen with – it does make sitting cross-legged more uncomfortable and, again, will likely make the chair more uncomfortable for wider users. The T3 Rush is supremely adjustable and I love it. The Class-4 gas lift provides 10 cm of height adjustment to match your desk. It also has 4D armrests, allowing you to raise and lower them, adjust their width, angle, and even their depth. This is a great feature if you find yourself sitting at your desk a lot and need to change position between holding a Xbox One controller, typing at a gaming keyboard, or even reclining to put your feet up and binge on Netflix. For the Corsair T3 Rush, construction is a relatively simple task. The fairly large box contains everything you need to put it together, including a funky little hex key/screwdriver combo tool that I'm definitely keeping for use elsewhere. I always try to make building a gaming chair as 'difficult' as it could be, so as to ensure the experience is real and genuine - as a result, I approached it on my own, and in my own small office room. Being limited on space and hands didn't cause me any trouble though: the T3 Rush was built in about 15 minutes, and I got it right the first time (a rarity). The instructions are clear, with the majority of the build being intuitive as well as easily explained.

From a pure comfort perspective, the T3 Rush took me a little while to find my comfort zone; I did end up finding it very comfortable, but it took some time. I have experienced the reverse of this with the Corsair TC200, and the second I sat on it I knew that the seat and I were going to get along well. The CORSAIR T3 RUSH Gaming Chair is available immediately from the CORSAIR webstore and the CORSAIR worldwide network of authorized retailers and dibutors. Putting it together you'll be reminded of the low cost too. While everything did align well, and the materials are more than fit for purpose, I did have a little trouble getting some of the bolts in place. That was due to the marbles of balled up synthetic material around the holes, which had evidently been burned through. Aside from that, it took me maybe 40 minutes to put together—even without instructions in the box it was relatively straightforward, but this is coming from someone who puts together chairs on almost a monthly basis. The only time the T3 ever took me out of the game was when I’d try crossing my legs and feel the frame. Thankfully, it only took small adjustments to solve the issue and it was never an issue sitting normally. Purchasing Guide

More than anything else, a gaming chair should make it easier for you to enjoy the games you love. To that end, the T3 Rush is a success. The feature I was most concerned about, the fabric exterior, turned out to be my favorite quality of the whole chair. It’s so much more breathable compared to PU leather that it never once overheated or made me sweat. It’s a chilly winter here in Western New York, so heat isn’t exactly an issue anyway, but I still found the fabric nicer to sit in over long gaming sessions. It needs to be cleaned more often but I found that to be a worthwhile trade-off. Like all of the chairs I have and will test, they have to go through many 8-hour days of work - at my Flexispot E7 desk; one of the best standing desks - and a fair few hours of gaming too on most days. The headline on comfort is that the TC200 is a joy to sit in for all these hours, no matter what I was doing. And I want to particularly highlight the lumbar support in the TC200, as this made it so I didn't need to adjust my position too much. All day comfort is a real thing here. The next gaming chair on the list is the Secretlab Titan Evo XL. Pretty much the biggest brother of the Secretlab Titan Evo as the latter is more suited for the normal-sized populace. Anyhow, this gaming chair model swapped a few parts from the standard version with bigger variants, which gives it more weight capacity and max height. This gaming chair also has the same features that the smaller Secretlab Titan Evo has, like the 4D armrests, lumbar support, and adjustable height and tilt. The other problem is the fact that the tilt system is a bit… weird. This is related to the wheels problem, where they move at the slightest provocation. Because of this, even when you want to relax by stretching and tilting the chair a bit, there’s a really big chance that the wheels will move and you’ll go careening all around your room. In addition to this, there’s a really big risk of falling over when you tilt the chair too much and you accidentally move around with it. It’s a pretty standard flaw of chairs with wheels in them, but this flaw can be both irritating, and pretty dangerous. At the beginning Corsairs T3 Rush will cost 280 Euro, at the moment the chair will be sold for € 8.88 (€ 4.48 / l)* (Charcoal), Price not available * (Gray / Charcoal) or € 449.00 * (Gray / White). For the starting price, the company’s currently cheapest model is a good choice that hardly allows itself any weaknesses: the T3 Rush does a lot right, the points of criticism are small.

The wider seat and specifically the less restrictive bolsters mean that my Big-Lad frame fits into the chair much more comfortably and snugly (without being too close). It really felt a bit like a Cinderella moment; the glass slipper just slid right on. You will end up losing your pen down the side of the bolsters but I really do like the style. Maybe you could even store your pens down there. The possibilities are endless. All in, the Corsair TC200 Gaming Chair is a great chair for both work and play. As a result, it's easy to recommend, and I think most folks looking for their first gaming chair or an upgrade are likely to find it comfortable and supportive. I did 12-hour sessions in this chair with no ill effects. Now the really important bit: what is actually like to sit on? And this proved to be an interesting experience. At first, I wasn’t immediately impressed with the comfort, but as I persevered and kept using the T3 Rush, it proved to be a provider of all-day comfort. I can easily sit on the T3 Rush for 8 hours of work and then spend a good few more gaming afterward. It was almost like the most comfortable shoes as it took a few uses for it to break in. Last but not least is the Player One Ghost V2, a massive improvement to the V1 gaming chair they released 5 years ago. It kept the really good things that the V1 had, while also adding several additions that improved the quality of the newer version. This one has a fabric cold molded foam compared to the leather version for the lumbar cushion. The T3 Rush costs 280 Euros to start with and is therefore the cheapest gaming chair currently available from Corsair: the T1 costs 300 Euros, the T2 340 Euros. In the meantime, the real prices are mostly somewhat lower than recommended by Corsair.
