Toni really made me almost throw the book across the room at least 3 times. INSUFFERABLE, ANNOYING and always opening her mouth to say some negative shit for absolute no reason. Also the whole SA plot with Hugo was so unnecessary and the fact Toni probably even falsely accused him, very unnecessary. The Primary School Library Alliance is calling on the government to match-fund the private investment it has brought into helping primary schools c... When a group who have met on a creepy Deddit thread decide to meet in real life, they only have one plan in mind: they are going to summon the Midnight Man. And once you start the Midnight Game, you must finish it - there's no other way out! Six strangers. One night. But how many survivors? How can a book like this actually make me scared of the possibilities of what these games entails is beyond me, but I think with the idea, a good imagination, the way the characters are written and the clues you get throughout just make this an enjoyable read in essence I would probably never read this book again, but the ride was so worth it, I finished it in hours upon having it in my hands. Toni being his accomplice not too obvious but stupid. “I want to keep Reece happy”, stupid reasoning to be his accomplice. If you really wanted to keep Reece happy and would like him you wouldn’t have made out with Hugo and then think about blaming Reece for everything and running off.

De grote vraag is natuurlijk; is dit spel wel echt? Zit the midnight man écht achter je aan wanneer je dit spel start? To play the game there are certain rules that you need to follow if you want to stay alive. As the characters start to play the game, they soon realize that their lives might be in real danger. A lot of Filler stuff with all the game recommendations (11 mile game etc), could’ve, no i should’ve skipped those tbh. The end was so bad, and no it’s not simple like it’s just an ending that isn’t to my liking, it’s seriously bad. It was so rushed. The one thing I didn't like and it still upsets me a day later and yes I know it's just a book but Mei a 14 year old girl being murdered like that was not cool. AT ALL.I had a soft spot and children to a certain age and old people should be exempt. A group of friends decide to play The Midnight Game and not all is as it seems. There is more to the game. The author had me completely engaged and I was biting my nails and dreading going to the loo at night. She kept it up all throughout the book and although I (unfortunately) guessed folie á deux loved the idea of it but it didn't satisfy my need for wanting an epic twist. Nice touch at the ending though. Hierdoor had ik dit boek in één ruk uitgelezen, omdat ik zo benieuwd was naar hoe the midnight game in elkaar zat en wat er precies gaande was. The concept of the book intrigued me from the start, especially the whole paranormal aspect. The creepy voices? Signing your soul over to the game?

I’ve just completed edits for my US version of Win Lose Kill Die, which is out on December 5th. I’ve also been offered some exciting new opportunities that I can’t discuss yet!”Rules of The Midnight Game: Do not turn on the lights. Do not go to sleep. Do not leave the building. Het verhaal was mega spannend en had een paar twist en turns die ik niet aan zag komen, maar heb er ook wel een paar kunnen voorspellen. When a group of strangers who met on a creepy Deddit thread decide to meet up in real life, they only have one objective in mind: to summon the Midnight Man. I’m not entirely sure if I can call if fun, exactly, but it was just one of those books that are fast to read and enjoyable.
