It is thick with characters, with confusing and often similar names, so it is easy to get some of the characters mixed up, but overall the novel was entertaining, powerful and heart-warming. I will say the comment that Mengele said was so horrifying and it's not the worst of what they did and there were images that would need to be explained cause gassing and mass genocide seem like content for fiction not real life.

While at times a little too "novel-y" (and not in a good way), LIBRARIAN is still an important and compelling graphic novel. This novel is one that could easily be recommended or taught alongside Elie Wiesel's Night and The Diary of Anne Frank and a text that, once read, will never be forgotten.It did give me hope for mankind, since many people did keep their humanity and their love for one another.
