The winch is state of the art with an automatic brake. If you accidentially release the winch handle or remove the cordless drill while raising or lowering cabinets the brake will engage, preventing the cabinets from falling to the floor. Each assembly uses a 23" long 2 x 6 for the base and a 23" long 2 x 8 for the top. They will look like an upside down "T" when assembled. The pictures on the right show the two assemblies.

Reverse Gas-Piston Stay is very similar devices to those shown above. They have a wide range of applications - shoulder lifts can be used for bottom opening flaps. The E-Z Cabinet Lift - 24" Model is a professionally engineered tool that is used to safely and efficiently install upper cabinets up to 24" deep.
