Description

In most cases the subject is focused upon to the exclusion of surrounding elements, which in some cases add quite a different context to the scene in question. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). In The Art of Hearthstone, Volume IV: Year of the Raven, the designers, engineers, and artists of the smash-hit digital card game pour their cunning into innovative design changes, remarkable animated art, and all-new transmedia content. This is probably one of our favorite cards from the set, not only because of the artwork, but because of the concept in general. Includes stunning concept art and visual details and consists of hundreds of illustrations from the corruptive cults of Whispers of the Old Gods, the glamorous disco of One Night in Karazhan, and the turf wars of Means Streets of Gadgetzan.

The book was originally to be published on October 15, 2017 (US) and November 2, 2018 (EU) but was delayed to Fall 2018 after some in-depth review by the Hearthstone team to reevaluate the design with more up to date content. The Trinket Tracker is a hideous card, but we love the vibrant colors (especially of the bright purple hair, the glowing trinket, and creepy eyes.

It follows on from the mutated theme of the entire set (scientific creations, potions, creepy-looking monsters), but this is probably the most horrific of the lot. While they may have sentimental value, bibles passed down through the family are not often worth a lot of money.

Travel to the forbidding jungles of Un’Goro Crater, where primordial creatures from the dawn of time roam. This zombie appears to be wearing some sort of bunny costume, surrounded by buzzing bees and munching into a bright pink heart. The card art seen in Hearthstone often differs substantially from the full art from which it is taken. When I messaged them I got a prompt response, and the book arrived within the listed time, well packaged and factory sealed.

In many cases the art was created for the TCG to represent a specific card, but its use in Hearthstone may repurpose it entirely, turning a druid weapon into a shaman spell, or an image of Gul'dan into a servant of Nefarian. He recently co-authored the New York Times and USA Today best-selling illustrated history book series, "World of Warcraft Chronicle". It is especially annoying as some of the character art makes more sense if you see the whole image and not just what is cropped into the cards.

From the haunted lands of Gilneas in The Witchwood soaring to the laboratories of Outland in The Boomsday Project and touching down to the lively arena of Rastakhan's Rumble, the Year of the Raven has something unique for everyone. From the haunted lands of Gilneas in The Witchwood soaring to the laboratories of Outland in The Boomsday Project and touching down to the lively arena of Rastakhan’s Rumble, the Year of the Raven has something unique for everyone.

It still amazes me that there isn’t a proper gallery mode in the game to view the full card art in high resolution. The second volume of The Art of Hearthstone dives deep into the depths of the Year of the Kraken, the first year of Hearthstone's standard format. It's also neat to see the different potential combo minions we could see in the future - both for how the cards play, but also for the sweet crossover art.
