We were sent a copy of the Milkshake Fabulous Friends DVD to watch, and we thought it was a most brilliant way to spend an afternoon of family cuddles on the sofa. The DVD has most of his favourites on there and at over two hours long, it’s a great DVD to dip in and out of, or to help fill a rainy afternoon now that winter is here. Of course Peppa Pig had to be on the list! Peppa Pig is one of the most well-known characters in children’s TV. Each episode sees Peppa and her family and friends go on a new and exciting adventure, with the narratives often also sharing educational messages for kids and ending on a high note. Since we discovered Toot the Tiny Tugboat on Channel 5, the small boy has embraced life on the ocean wave and now wants to forge a career as a harbour master, or similar. It was with some joy that I was given the chance to try out the Toot the Tiny Tugboat app. I’m always on the look out for apps and games which my four year old will enjoy playing, especially ones with a hint of learning about them, so I was keen to see if the Toot the Tiny Tugboat app would fit the bill.
